How to Submit to StartupTrusted (DR 49)

StartupTrusted (startuptrusted.com) is a young startup directory, registered December 3, 2025, built by a named maker (its footer credits Maulik, who also runs LaunchIgniter), holding about 700 listings and still adding new ones the day we checked. Listing costs $11 one-time for PRO ("Get dofollow backlink to boost your SEO", "Instant approval and listing") or $19 for FEATURED (homepage placement), and the headline promise checks out: the ten live listings we inspected all carry followed, server-rendered links.

This review adds the context the pricing page doesn't. The domain rates DR 49 (FrogDR, July 2026), genuinely quick growth for a December 2025 launch, the "permanent" backlink arrives with a ?ref=startuptrusted parameter appended and no terms exist behind the word (literally: the Terms & Privacy the submit page asks you to agree to are 404s), the entry price rose from $7 to $11 since March 2026, and per-door the math favors breadth: the same $11 is about 11 directories at Submitator's rate.

Submitator math

$11 at StartupTrusted buys one listing on one DR-49 domain (FrogDR; quick growth for a December 2025 launch). Submitator's $29 plan is 30 directories you pick in the dashboard, about $0.97 each: their one door costs about 11 of ours. And the catalog runs up to DR 93, with Uneed (DR 74), Fazier (DR 81), Startup Fame (DR 83) and Product Hunt (DR 91) among the choices.

Pricing per startuptrusted.com/pricing, July 2026: 'PRO' $11 one-time ('Get dofollow backlink to boost your SEO', 'Instant approval and listing', 'All your dofollow links are permanent, no backlink required') and 'FEATURED' $19 ('Everything in Pro', 'Featured on homepage above all listings', 'Maximum visibility and exposure for your startup'), header 'Get a permanent dofollow backlink and instant listing for your startup. One-time payment, no recurring fees.' The only archived copy of the page (March 2026) shows PRO at $7. No free tier is shown publicly; the submit flow is behind a sign-in wall. On the ten live listings we checked, the Visit Website link carried rel=noopener only (followed), server-rendered, with ?ref=startuptrusted appended to every outbound URL; the rel attribute is theirs to change. The /terms and /privacy URLs return 404 while the submit page says 'By continuing, you agree to our Terms & Privacy Policy' as plain, unlinked text; no legal entity is named; the footer credits 'Built by Maulik' and support links to his X profile. DR 49 per FrogDR. Per its site when last checked (July 2026).

How to submit to StartupTrusted, step by step

  1. 1

Sign in to see the form

The submit flow sits behind a Google or email sign-in; the public pages show only the pricing. The sign-in screen's agreement line references Terms & Privacy documents that return 404.

  2. 2

    Pick PRO or FEATURED

$11 for the listing with the dofollow link, $19 to also sit 'Featured on homepage above all listings'. Both one-time, and honestly so: no countdown theater, no strikethrough anchors.

  3. 3

    'Instant approval and listing'

That's the PRO tier's own bullet. No review criteria are published anywhere, which sits oddly under a brand that calls itself 'The database of verified startups'; both phrases are theirs.

  4. 4

    What lands

A listing page with your name, tagline, description, category and a Visit Website button. On the listings we checked, that button's link is followed and carries ?ref=startuptrusted on the end of your URL.

StartupTrusted's pricing: PRO at $11 one-time with dofollow backlink and instant approval, FEATURED at $19 one-time with homepage placement, marked RECOMMENDED
The two tiers: $11 for the listing, $19 for the homepage row. One-time, no theatrics.

StartupTrusted pricing, priced per door

$11 is a small sticker, and we won't pretend otherwise; it's $18 below our cheapest plan. The comparison that matters is what a door costs. Their $11 opens one door: one listing, on one domain. Submitator's $29 opens thirty, about $0.97 per directory, so their single listing costs about eleven of our doors; their $19 FEATURED tier is worth about nineteen. Their pricing history has one quiet move in it (the only archived copy of the page, from March 2026, shows PRO at $7, a 57% rise since), but the page itself plays fair: one-time means one-time, and there's no scarcity theater anywhere on it.

The dofollow is real, and it arrives with a ?ref=

Credit first, because it's earned: on all ten live listings we checked, the Visit Website link is followed (rel=noopener only), server-rendered in the raw HTML and indexable. The promise on the pricing page is delivered on the pages we sampled. Two details belong next to the credit. Every outbound link is rewritten to append ?ref=startuptrusted, so the "permanent dofollow backlink" points at yoursite.com/?ref=startuptrusted, a parameterized URL rather than your clean one. And "permanent" is a word with nothing behind it: the site publishes no terms of any kind, and the rel attribute, as everywhere, is theirs to change.

DR 49, and the doors that outrank it

FrogDR tracks startuptrusted.com at DR 49 as of July 2026. Give the number its due: for a domain registered in December 2025, DR 49 in seven and a half months is genuinely fast. But if the purchase is SEO authority, the relative number is the one that matters, and Submitator's catalog is full of doors that rate higher: Uneed at DR 74, Fazier at DR 81, Startup Fame at DR 83, Product Hunt at DR 91, with the catalog topping out at DR 93. The $29 plan buys 30 picks from that list, each directory's DR on screen in the dashboard as you choose. One DR-49 link for $11, or thirty doors including several in the 70s and 80s for $29: that's the actual decision.

"Verified startups", approved instantly

The brand is "The database of verified startups". One of the $11 tier's bullets is "Instant approval and listing". Both are quotes from the same site, and no page explains how they fit together: there are no published verification criteria, no about page and no FAQ, and the VERIFIED badge that appears on some listings has no stated meaning. The directory's shape tells its own story: roughly half of the ~700 listings sit in one Productivity category, 25 categories hold exactly one listing each, and monthly intake has slid from 203 listings in December 2025 to 72 in June 2026, by the dates in its own sitemap. Active, yes. Curated is a stretch the site never actually explains.

Terms that don't exist, support that's a DM

The submit flow's agreement line reads "By continuing, you agree to our Terms & Privacy Policy". That text isn't a hyperlink, and the terms and privacy URLs return 404: the documents you're agreeing to don't exist. No refund policy, no legal entity, no governing law appears anywhere, and the footer's Support link opens a DM to the founder's X account. The founder, at least, is genuinely named ("Built by Maulik"), and his other project is LaunchIgniter, which explains one more observation: several of the homepage's FEATURED slots hold his own products, LaunchIgniter itself, Email Finder ("by LaunchIgniter", its own tagline) and App Page among them. A one-person shop isn't a flaw. An $11 purchase on a handshake with no paper is worth knowing about first.

One door for $11, or thirty for $29

The math this guide exists for: $11 at StartupTrusted buys one listing on one DR-49 domain, dofollow delivered, parameter attached, nothing in writing. Submitator's $29 buys submissions to 30 directories you pick in the dashboard, each with its DR on screen, dofollow links as the stated focus (DR 40 to 90 directories), badges installed and kept live where directories require them (that's what unlocks Startup Fame at DR 83, Fazier at DR 81 and Turbo0 at DR 79), the whole batch out in 24 to 48 hours with a live link per completed listing, rejections credited +1 and a 30-day money-back refund with terms that exist. Their door is cheap. Thirty doors, many of them stronger, cost $29.

Submitator does not submit to StartupTrusted; the comparison is what the money buys per door. The Links cell compresses our July 2026 check: on all ten live listings we inspected, the Visit Website link was followed (rel=noopener only) with ?ref=startuptrusted appended to the outbound URL; the rel attribute is theirs to change, and no written terms back the 'permanent' wording (the site's terms and privacy URLs return 404). Submitator's $29 plan covers 30 directories you pick (60 for $49, 100 for $79), badges handled, live link per completed listing, rejections credited +1, 30-day money-back refund.

Their one door costs about eleven of ours.

Pick your 30 in the dashboard with DR on screen, badges handled, batch submitted in 24 to 48 hours, live links as listings complete. $29 one-time, plans up to 100 directories.

The short version

One DR-49 door for $11. Thirty doors for $29.

Their dofollow checks out, the maker is real and DR 49 in seven months is quick growth. It's still one listing, with a ?ref= on your link, terms that 404 and support by DM. Breadth wins this one on arithmetic.

FAQ

How much does StartupTrusted cost?

Two one-time tiers: PRO at $11 ('Get dofollow backlink to boost your SEO', 'Instant approval and listing', 'All your dofollow links are permanent, no backlink required') and FEATURED at $19 ('Everything in Pro', 'Featured on homepage above all listings'). The pricing page shows no free tier; the PRO bullet's 'no backlink required' implies a backlink-required route exists, but the submit flow sits behind a sign-in wall, so we couldn't see it. Credit where due: the pricing is static and honest, no countdowns, no fake anchors. One history note: the only archived copy of the pricing page (March 2026) shows PRO at $7, so the entry price rose 57% to $11 sometime before July.

Are StartupTrusted links dofollow?

Yes, and that deserves saying plainly: on all ten live listings we checked in July 2026, the Visit Website link carried rel=noopener only, no nofollow, server-rendered in the raw HTML and indexable. Two footnotes ride with the credit. Every outbound link is rewritten to append ?ref=startuptrusted, so your 'permanent dofollow backlink' points at yoursite.com/?ref=startuptrusted rather than your clean URL. And 'permanent' has nothing in writing behind it: the site has no terms pages at all, and the rel attribute stays theirs to change.

What Domain Rating is StartupTrusted?

DR 49, per FrogDR in July 2026. Fair credit first: the domain is about seven and a half months old (registered December 3, 2025), and DR 49 that fast is genuinely impressive. The comparison that matters for a link buyer: Submitator's catalog includes directories rated well above it, Uneed at DR 74, Fazier at DR 81, Startup Fame at DR 83 and Product Hunt at DR 91 among them, and the $29 plan covers 30 picks from that catalog.

Does StartupTrusted review submissions?

Its own two headlines answer differently. The brand is 'The database of verified startups'; the $11 tier promises 'Instant approval and listing'. No verification criteria are published anywhere (there's no about page, no FAQ and no terms), a VERIFIED badge appears on some listings with no stated meaning, and the submit flow is a sign-in wall. Both quotes are theirs; how a database stays verified while approving instantly is a question the site doesn't address.

Is StartupTrusted legit?

Real directory, real founder, real dofollow, and nothing on paper. The checkable facts. Credits: the builder is named (the footer says 'Built by Maulik', linking his X profile; he also runs LaunchIgniter), the directory is real and active (about 700 listings, new ones added the day we checked) and the dofollow claim verifies. Flags: the submit page says 'By continuing, you agree to our Terms & Privacy Policy', but that text isn't a link and the terms and privacy URLs return 404, so you're agreeing to documents that don't exist; support is a DM to the founder's X account; no legal entity is named anywhere; several of the homepage's FEATURED slots hold the operator's own products (LaunchIgniter, Email Finder 'by LaunchIgniter', App Page); and monthly listing intake has declined from 203 in December 2025 to 72 in June 2026 per the sitemap's own dates.

Does Submitator submit to StartupTrusted?

No, Submitator doesn't submit to StartupTrusted. The comparison is per-door math: $11 there buys one listing on one DR-49 domain. Submitator's $29 plan submits you to 30 directories you pick in the dashboard, about $0.97 per directory, which makes their one listing worth about 11 of our doors, and the catalog runs up to DR 93 (Uneed DR 74, Fazier DR 81, Startup Fame DR 83 and Product Hunt DR 91 among the choices). Dofollow links are the stated focus, badges are installed and kept live, the whole batch goes out in 24 to 48 hours with a live link per completed listing, rejections are credited +1 and there's a 30-day money-back refund, with terms that exist.
