Search 9,000 Listings First, Then Send Seven Fields to a Human Reviewer.
Our customers' tools go to NextGenTools through its free form. Each rule, field and price quoted below was copied from nextgentools.me on 2 October 2026.
NextGenTools has listed AI tools since February 2023 and now holds more than 9,000 listings. It is run by a registered German company with a full imprint, and its home page describes the scope as "automation tools, no-code tools, and AI tools".
Getting in is free. You search the site first, fill seven fields in an Airtable form and wait for a person to look at it: "We do review every tool manually before publishing it on the site."
Of the seven fields, only the tool description asks for writing. When customers pick NextGenTools, that is the field we write.
A post of its own, titled with your tool's name, with a square logo and a write-up of around 150 words. Every listing page read is open to indexing with a canonical to itself and sits in the site's sitemap. The home page runs the 30 newest under its Featured block, and the sidebar lists the five most recent.

Per nextgentools.me, its home page, /submit-your-tool and the Airtable form embedded there (rendered), /nextgentools-promotion-services and its Stripe checkout, the imprint and privacy pages, robots.txt, its sitemaps and its WordPress REST API, read on 2 October 2026; nothing was submitted or bought. The seven fields and their help text match our founder's screenshots of the form taken the same day. The listing count rests on the REST API's total of 9,277 posts, the first dated 26 February 2023, three of them articles rather than tools; the site's own pages give "4,200+" and "7000+". Free listings are published in batches; the most recent free batch is dated 25 August 2026. None of the 99 most recent free listings carries a direct anchor to the tool's own domain, in their REST content, in the full HTML of the 49 newest or in two rendered pages; three carry only a /likes/ link made for an older listing of the same name. Of 80 listing pages read in full (the 50 newest and 30 older), every page carries meta robots "index, follow" and a canonical to itself, and two pages re-fetched with a Googlebot user agent were identical. Listings published before 14 May 2025 often linked the tool through a /likes/ redirect, as 7 of the 30 older pages still do; the one paid listing under the current price list links its tool with a plain followed anchor. Prices and terms are quoted from the promotion page, which offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker, which returned 12. Submitator's founder states that we submit customers to NextGenTools through its free form, write a unique description for each directory and fill in every field on the form, and that the customer gives us their email and we enter it. Starter is $29 for 30 directories, Growth $49 for 60 and Scale $79 for 100, each paid once and chosen in the dashboard; a rejected submission is credited back as another directory to choose, and refunds follow the 30-day conditions in our terms.
Search before you send
The submit page opens with a request in capitals, "KINDLY READ THIS BEFORE SUBMITTING", and the first rule under it is about duplicates: "Please do a search on the site before submitting your tool to ensure that we don't already have it listed." With more than 9,000 listings on file, a quick search of your product's name is worth the minute.
Two more rules follow. The URL must be the tool's own address, because "Do not submit your affiliate link to a tool. It will not be approved." And the directory lists software, not reading: "We do not curate newsletters on this site. Only tools."
An Airtable form with seven fields
The form is embedded from Airtable. It asks for the tool name, a category, the URL, a contact first name, an optional contact name, an email and a tool description, then offers Clear form and Submit. There is no upload field and no account to make.
The category is one choice from a searchable list of 32, from AI Detection and Copywriting to Text-To-Video and Video Editing, and the site's tags carry the same names. The email is there "in case we have questions". The description box asks for the most: "Please provide a comprehensive description of your tool."
Your listing page
A published tool gets a post of its own: your tool's name as the title and the heading, a square logo that opens larger on a click, a write-up of around 150 words and a share bar. Related posts and the site's newsletter sign-up sit underneath.
On the home page, eight Featured tools sit in the top block and the 30 newest listings follow, each as a name and a short excerpt.
The price list, in their words
The free listing does not link out to your site. A followed link is the first item on their promotion page: "A high-quality DO-Follow backlink from your tool listing on NextGenTools" for €75, paid once. Text Optimization and the Featured month both include it, and the page backs every service with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
| Service | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| DO-Follow Backlink | €75 | A followed link from your tool's page |
| Backlink with Text Optimization | €125 | The link plus up to 500 more words |
| Instagram Post | €50 | A post, with the link in bio for 7 days |
| Newsletter Article | €250 | An article to their 12K subscribers |
| Homepage Featured Product | €250 | A month at the top of the home page, link included |
From the form to their review
Customers who choose NextGenTools are filed through the free form. The tool description is written for this directory alone and as comprehensive as the form asks. The category is set from their list of 32.
Your email goes in their Email field, so any questions about the listing reach you. The review itself is theirs, as it is for every tool.
Where NextGenTools fits
Worth the seven fields. It costs nothing, a person reviews every tool and the result is a page under your tool's name, with a logo and a write-up, open to indexing.

Not on a free listing. None of the 99 most recent free listings, read on 2 October 2026, links directly to the tool's own site. What are the steps to list a tool on NextGenTools?
Search the site for your tool first, then open Submit your tool and fill in the Airtable form: tool name, category, URL, contact first name, an optional contact name, email and a tool description.

What does NextGenTools Homepage Featured include?
A place in the block at the top of the home page, “Be the first to be seen on the homepage”, plus, in their words, the “Backlink with Optimization Package”. It is €250 paid once, and the checkout names it “Homepage - Featured Product (1 month)”.
