DeepLaunch Is DR 71. Its Free Listing Costs a Link Out of Your Footer.
Written by Submitator. DeepLaunch is one of the directories we file customers to, on its paid Featured tier, so we have a reason to like it. Every figure below is quoted from their own pages or measured from their live listings, and the method is in the footnote.
DeepLaunch is a tools and SaaS directory rated 71 by Ahrefs, with 1,379 product pages across twenty-six categories. That is one of the strongest domains in this whole catalog, and the link it gives out is followed: we sampled 80 of those pages and all 80 link to the listed tool with the rel attribute bare.
So the only question is what you pay for it. Their free block is specific about that, and it is worth reading twice: "Add dofollow backlink to our site in your website footer." Not a badge image. A followed link, out of your footer, on every page of your site, pointing at a DR 71 competitor for attention.
We submit on Featured Listing, which lists at $29.90 a month and is the tier that says "No backlink required". That is $29.90 you do not pay and a footer link you never owe, on top of priority review instead of the free queue and spotlight placement above the basic listings. It is one of the launch fees a Submitator plan absorbs, and plans start at $29 for thirty directories.
What each DeepLaunch tier costs you
| Tier | Price | What it asks of your site | Review |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free listing | $0 | A dofollow link to them in your footer | Within 48 hours |
| One-Time Pro | $9.90 lifetime | Nothing | Immediate |
| Monthly Promotion | $5 first month | Nothing | Immediate |
| Featured Listing | $29.90 / month | Nothing | Priority |
| Ultimate | $199 / year | Nothing | Priority |
| Through Submitator | Featured, covered by your plan | Nothing | Priority |
Per deeplaunch.io, its /pricing and /submit pages and its sitemap, all read on 4 September 2026. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker, which returned 71; DeepLaunch publishes Ahrefs Domain Rating badges on its own pages. Tier names, prices and bullets are quoted from the pricing page: One-Time Pro is shown at $9.90 struck through from $19.90 for a lifetime basic listing with a highlighted card, no badge required and priority support; Monthly Promotion at $5.00 for the first month adds auto-refresh to top monthly; Featured Listing at $29.90 a month lists 10 featured submissions per month, 10 SEO-friendly blog posts per month, full access to the Backlink Library, "No backlink required", priority review, priority support, a highlighted card display and a lifetime product listing; Ultimate at $199 a year adds 30 featured submissions, 30 blog posts, premium spotlight placement and a featured badge. The free block reads "Submit your website for free / Basic directory listing / Standard visibility / Add dofollow backlink to our site in your website footer / Review within 2 days" and offers dark, light and transparent embeds. Their pricing FAQ states that Featured is premium spotlight placement always above basic listings, that free submissions are reviewed within 48 hours while paid submissions get immediate review, that Featured spotlight placement runs for the subscription period and then reverts to a basic listing, and that paid plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee. The link finding is a sample, not a census: the sitemap lists 1,379 product URLs, we drew a seeded random sample of 80, fetched every one successfully at 145-179 KB, parsed the HTML rather than pattern-matching it, and classified each outbound anchor by hostname. Every page carries a constant block of eight site-wide anchors, two to Ahrefs for the rating badges, one nofollowed to twelve.tools and six followed links to paid placements; excluding those, all 80 pages link to their own listed tool with the rel attribute empty, so all 80 pass equity, and none carried a robots noindex. One page carried a second, nofollowed anchor to the same tool alongside its followed one. We did not check the other 1,299, and markup can change at any time. Nothing behind the pay buttons was observed: no submission was made and no payment taken, so turnaround and refund practice in the real world are outside what we can report. Submitator submits customers to DeepLaunch on the Featured tier, which our plans cover. Our plans are $29 for 30 directories, $49 for 60 and $79 for 100, one-time, chosen by you in the dashboard with each Domain Rating shown, rejections credited back as +1 directory and a 30-day refund policy on the conditions in our terms.
How to submit to DeepLaunch, step by step
- 1
Write the description before you open the form
This is the one that catches people out. The description field has a minimum of 500 characters and a maximum of 3,000, and it takes markdown. Five hundred is longer than the paragraph most people arrive with, so draft it somewhere else: what the tool does, who it is for, what makes it different, and a short feature list with markdown bullets.
- 2
Keep the tagline inside 160 characters
One line, and it is what appears on the card next to your logo in a directory of 1,379 products. Name the job the tool does rather than the category it belongs to.
- 3
Get the logo under 500kb
The limit is smaller than most brand assets and it is enforced on upload, so export a compressed PNG or WEBP rather than dropping in the file your designer sent. Screenshots are more generous: up to four, 5MB each.
- 4
Pick at most three categories, and pick them narrow
The form caps you at three out of twenty-six. Two precise ones beat three vague ones, because a browser filtering to Developer Tools and finding a marketing app is a bounce, not a visit.
- 5
Fill the optional block, because it is short and free
A discount code for their community, your founded year, a YouTube demo, your Twitter and an affiliate program URL. The discount code in particular gives your card something to say that the other listings do not.
- 6
Then choose how you pay, and read the free option carefully
The free route wants a dofollow backlink to DeepLaunch in your footer, permanently, on a site with Domain Rating 71. That is a real transfer of equity out of your domain, not a logo. If you are here through a Submitator plan, you are on the Featured tier and the question does not arise.
The free tier asks for more than a badge
Plenty of directories want their logo in your footer. DeepLaunch is asking for something different and is admirably plain about it: a dofollow backlink, in your footer, to a site with a Domain Rating of 71. A badge is a piece of visual credit. This is a sitewide link passing equity in one direction, and the direction is not yours.
We are not saying it is a bad trade for everyone. If you have no budget and you want a listing on a strong directory, it is a rational thing to accept, and they tell you the price in the same box as the offer rather than three clicks later. What we are saying is that it is a price, and it should be compared against $9.90 for their lifetime Pro tier or against a plan that covers Featured outright.
What the paid placements actually buy
Here is something you cannot see from the pricing page but can measure from the site. Every product page we sampled carries the same block of six followed links to paid placements, identical on all eighty. On a site with 1,379 product pages, a spot in that block is not one link, it is a sitewide one.
Featured is also what buys you out of the queue. Their own line: "Free submissions are reviewed within 48 hours. All paid submissions receive immediate review and faster approval." And their pricing FAQ describes Featured as premium spotlight placement, always above basic listings.
One honest caveat, from their own FAQ: spotlight placement runs for the subscription period and then reverts to a basic listing. The listing itself is permanent either way, and so is the thing that matters most here, which is that you were never asked for the footer link.
Why we buy the tier rather than the badge
Across the catalog there are two ways a directory sells the good version of a listing: it asks for a badge, or it asks for money. We handle the first by installing badges and keeping them live. We handle the second by buying the tier, on DeepLaunch and on the other launch fees a plan absorbs, so nothing on that list ever reaches your card.
DeepLaunch is the case where the difference matters most, because what it asks for on the free route is not a badge at all. It is your footer. At $29.90 the Featured tier makes that question go away, and your plan has already answered it.
Their $29.90 a month, or thirty directories for $29 once.
One payment, every directory named in your dashboard with its Domain Rating on the card, and you tick the ones you want before anything is filed.
DeepLaunch review: the short answer
Submit, and think about how you pay. DR 71 with a followed link on every listing we checked is genuinely worth having, and at $9.90 for a lifetime Pro listing their cheapest paid tier is one of the better-value things in this catalog.
The free route is the one to weigh rather than reflex into. A permanent dofollow out of your own footer is not nothing, and it is the exact thing every paid tier is sold as removing.
DR 71, followed link, and a footer to protect.
DeepLaunch links out dofollow on all 80 listings we sampled, from a DR 71 domain with 1,379 product pages. Its free tier asks for a dofollow backlink to them in your footer; every paid tier removes that. Featured is $29.90 a month, we submit on it, and your plan covers it. The whole catalog.
FAQ
Is DeepLaunch free to submit to?
There is a free route, and it is not free of charge so much as priced in something other than money. Their free listing block asks you to “Add dofollow backlink to our site in your website footer”, and gives you a basic listing with standard visibility reviewed within two days. Every paid tier drops that requirement.
How much does DeepLaunch cost?
Four paid tiers. One-Time Pro is $9.90 for a lifetime listing, down from $19.90. Monthly Promotion is $5 for the first month and auto-refreshes you to the top. Featured Listing is $29.90 a month. Ultimate is $199 a year. Every Submitator plan covers the Featured tier for you, so the $29.90 never reaches your card.
Does DeepLaunch give a dofollow link?
Yes. We sampled 80 of the 1,379 product pages in their sitemap and fetched every one. All 80 link to the listed tool with a bare rel attribute, so all 80 pass equity, and none of the pages were noindexed. Whether you paid changes your placement, not whether the link is followed.
What does DeepLaunch's Featured Listing include?
Their bullets: 10 featured submissions per month, 10 SEO-friendly blog posts per month, full access to the Backlink Library, no backlink required, priority review, priority support, a highlighted card display and a lifetime product listing. Their pricing FAQ adds that Featured is “premium spotlight placement + always above basic listings”.
Do Submitator customers pay for DeepLaunch Featured?
No. We submit on the Featured tier, so it is covered by your plan the same way the other launch fees in the catalog are. You get the priority review and the spotlight placement, and you are never asked to put a link to DeepLaunch in your own footer.
Does DeepLaunch require a backlink or a badge?
On the free route, a backlink rather than a badge, which is the sharper version of the same trade. They offer three embed styles, dark, light and transparent, and the requirement is a dofollow link to them from your footer. One-Time Pro, Monthly Promotion, Featured and Ultimate all say no badge or no backlink required.
How long does DeepLaunch take to review a submission?
Their answer: “Free submissions are reviewed within 48 hours. All paid submissions receive immediate review and faster approval.” The free listing block gives the same figure as review within two days.
What is DeepLaunch's Domain Rating?
71 on Ahrefs, which makes it one of the strongest directories in our catalog and the reason the footer-link request is worth thinking about rather than waving through.
Is DeepLaunch worth submitting to?
Yes, comfortably. A followed link from a DR 71 domain with 1,379 indexed product pages is worth more than most paid placements cost. Just do not buy it with a permanent link out of your own footer when a plan here already covers the tier that removes the request.
