Get Listed as the Alternative on Your Competitors' Pages.
SiteLike is on the list of directories Submitator submits to, and this guide was written from what sitelike.org showed on 30 September 2026.
SiteLike is a similar-sites finder, in its own words "a free tool to discover similar, related, and alternative websites to any site you search." Type any domain and it returns a page of alternatives. Every site it knows gets a page of its own, and its sitemap runs to about 2.7 million of them.
Adding a site costs nothing and needs no account. You search your domain and fill a short form. After that, in their words: "Our system will then check & validate and approve immediately." From then on you have a page of your own, and you can turn up in the lists on the pages of sites like yours.
One thing to know first: the links are nofollow. Across 120 listing pages read that day, all 116 links to the listed sites carried it. The value is being on the page someone opens when they look for an alternative to a competitor. We submit customers here and fill the form for them.
| Label | What goes in |
|---|---|
| Website Domain Url | Full address, as https://www.abc.com |
| Check First(Important) | A button; skip it and the form will not send |
| Website Title | Your site's title |
| Description | “Please give as much as information about your website” |
| Keywords | Comma separated, as computers, laptops |
| Similar Website 1 to 3 | Optional, one domain each |
| Are you a robot? | The last letter of the word NOSPAM |
Right under the URL field sits Check First(Important), and next to it a red warning: "Please make sure to click this button otherwise you won't be able to submit!" Type the address and press it; only then fill in the rest. The last field is a word puzzle: the last letter of NOSPAM, which is M.

Per sitelike.org, its home page, /add-site, /advertise, /terms, /contactus, /remove.aspx, /policy/, /latest.aspx, robots.txt, its sitemap index and 120 listing pages at /similar/<domain>/, read on 30 September 2026; nothing was submitted. The add form is quoted from the founder's screenshot of it taken the same day, spelling included ("Check First(Important)"); the flow, approval, content rules, update route and suggestion rules are quoted from /add-site and from the suggestion form on each listing page. The 120 pages are the 40 newest sites on /latest.aspx and 80 taken at a fixed stride from 10 of the 55 sitemap files, which list about 2.72 million /similar/ addresses (54 files of 50,000 and one of 23,663). 110 of the 120 link to the listed site from the external-link icon beside the domain name, always with rel="external nofollow noopener"; 6 more links to listed sites sit in the similar-sites lists, with rel="external nofollow"; the 10 remaining older pages carry no link to the listed site at all. Across the 120 pages, every external link is nofollow apart from one AddToAny share button per page, and the 77 links on /latest.aspx run through redir.aspx with rel="external nofollow". Two pages re-fetched with a Googlebot user agent carried the same attributes. Listing pages set no robots meta tag and a canonical to themselves. There is no paid tier, advertising page or terms page on the site. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker, which returned 63; the domain was registered on 2 April 2020. Submitator's founder states that we submit customers to SiteLike and write a unique description for each directory. Starter is $29 for 30 directories, Growth $49 for 60 and Scale $79 for 100, each paid once and chosen in the dashboard; a rejected submission is credited back as another directory to choose, and refunds follow the 30-day conditions in our terms.
The search box is the way in
There is no Add button that opens a blank form. Their add page explains the route: "please go to Homepage and just type your website url and click Search." If SiteLike already knows your domain, you land on your existing page. If it does not, it asks for your details, and that is the form in the table above.
A page that already exists is not a dead end. Open it and press Edit to change the title, the description and the keywords, or use Refresh Site Image for a new screenshot. That route goes through your inbox: SiteLike emails you and applies the change once you approve it.
Title, description, keywords
After Check First, the form wants the site's title, a description and keywords. The description box names no limit and asks for a lot: "Please give as much as information about your website". The keywords go in as a comma-separated list, their example being "computers, laptops".
SiteLike says its algorithm matches sites "based on keyword relevance, shared topics, audience overlap, and web popularity", so the words you use are part of how it decides who your neighbours are. Describe the category you compete in as plainly as a buyer would search for it.
Three boxes for your competitors
The three Similar Website fields are optional, and they are the one place on the form that asks directly who you compete with. For a site built entirely on pairing websites with their alternatives, that is worth filling in with the names a buyer would compare you against.
There is a second route onto a rival's page. Every page ends with a "Suggest Site to this list" form that asks why your site is similar, in up to 255 characters, and sends a confirmation email. Those suggestions are read by a person, and the bar is high: they "only approve if it's completely similar."
What a SiteLike page shows
Your page lists the sites SiteLike considers alternatives to yours, each with its title, description, categories and the ranking figures it has, along with a community vote on whether the pair is really similar. Visitors can leave reviews and likes. The page carries no robots restriction and a canonical to itself.
Your site can also turn up in the lists on your competitors' pages, through SiteLike's matching or an approved suggestion, and that is the placement worth having: someone researching them there is already looking for something else. Count it as that kind of visibility, because the links themselves are nofollow.
What SiteLike turns away
The add page is clear about content: "some websites are not allowed; adult, gambling, phishing etc... any websites not suitable for kids." The check is not only at the door either: "We also manually and regularly check all the websites and block from our system if we find not suitable." Their stated yardstick is Google's publisher content policies.
We press Check First for you
SiteLike is in the set we submit to, and the form is ours to fill: the URL, Check First, the title, the description, the keywords and the robot question. The description is written for SiteLike, since no two directories get the same text from us. You do not need to find the search box or remember which button comes first.
Our catalog labels SiteLike no equity beside its Domain Rating, so it is clear from the start that this one is for visibility on similar-site pages rather than for a backlink.
SiteLike review: the short answer
Add it. It is free, approval is immediate and it can put your site in the lists on the pages people browse when they are weighing a competitor. The two things to get right are pressing Check First before anything else and naming your real competitors. Just do not count it toward your backlinks.
How to submit to SiteLike, step by step
- 1
Search your domain on their home page
The search box is the entrance. A known domain opens its existing page; an unknown one opens the add form.
- 2
Enter the full URL, then press Check First
Their example is https://www.abc.com. Press Check First(Important) before anything else, because without it the form will not submit.
- 3
Give the title and a full description
They ask for as much information as you can give. Say what the site does and who it is for, in the words a buyer would search.
- 4
List your keywords with commas
A comma-separated list; their example is computers, laptops. Keyword relevance comes first in the list of things SiteLike says it matches sites on.
- 5
Name up to three competitors
The Similar Website boxes are optional, but they are how you tell a similar-sites finder who belongs next to you.
- 6
Answer the NOSPAM question
The last letter of the word NOSPAM is M. Then submit, and the automatic check approves the site.
- 7
Leave the form to Submitator
We fill every field, including a description written for SiteLike, press Check First and handle the NOSPAM question, as one of the directories in your plan.
$0 here, and no equity. $29 for thirty, each one measured.
One payment, every directory named in your dashboard with its Domain Rating on the card and a no-equity mark where the link cannot be crawled, so you can tell a link from a listing before you pick it.
Free, instant, listed beside your rivals.
SiteLike adds any suitable site free and approves it at once, gives it a page of similar sites and can put it in the lists on the pages of sites like it. Press Check First before the rest of the form, and expect nofollow links. We fill it for you, from $29. The whole catalog.
FAQ
Is SiteLike free?
Yes. Their add page opens with “sitelike is completely free”, sign-up is not required and no paid tier exists anywhere on the site. The only restriction is on content: adult, gambling, phishing and anything “not suitable for kids” are refused.
Is SiteLike dofollow?
No. Across 120 listing pages read on 30 September 2026, all 116 links to the listed sites carried rel="nofollow", and so did the links in the lists of similar sites and on their Latest page. A SiteLike listing is visibility on pages about similar sites, not link equity.
Is SiteLike approval automatic?
Yes, by their account: “Our system will then check & validate and approve immediately.” Their Latest page, which shows new and updated sites, says it is “Refreshed in every 5 minutes.”
Why won't the SiteLike form submit?
Without Check First, it will not send. The button sits under the URL field with a red note: “Please make sure to click this button otherwise you won't be able to submit!” The other catch is the robot question at the bottom, which asks for the last letter of the word NOSPAM.
How do I update my site on SiteLike?
Search your domain on their home page and open your page, then use Edit. You can change the title, description and keywords, and refresh the site image; SiteLike sends an email to approve the change and applies it once you confirm.
Can I add my site to a competitor's list on SiteLike?
You can suggest it. Every page ends with a “Suggest Site to this list” form that asks why the site is similar, up to 255 characters, and sends a confirmation email. Their rule is strict: they “only approve if it's completely similar.”
What is SiteLike's Domain Rating?
63 on Ahrefs, read through our checker on 30 September 2026. It describes sitelike.org as a whole, not your listing, and with the links to listed sites marked nofollow, a listing does not pass it on.
Does Submitator submit to SiteLike?
Every time a customer picks it. The form is filled for you, Check First and the robot question included, with a description written for SiteLike, and our catalog labels it no equity beside its Domain Rating. From $29 for thirty directories.
More submit-to guides.
SiteLike is free. Thirty directories are $29, each one measured.
One payment. Each directory is named with its Domain Rating on the card before you choose it, a no-equity mark sits where the link cannot be crawled, badges are installed and kept live where one is wanted and a rejection is swapped for another directory.
