LaunchZone Alternative

Their 100 Directories Cost More Than All 160 of Ours.

Written by Submitator, which undercuts all three Auto Launch plans by more than half, so read it as a competitor's case. Their quotes come from launchzone.co, its terms and the code its pages load; claims about us come from our home page, our terms and our founder. The footnote below the comparison lists the pages read and the date.

LaunchZone sells Auto Launch in three sizes, paid once: 30 directories for $59, 50 for $99 and 100 for $179, all picked for you. Our All Directories plan costs $149 once and covers one project across the whole catalog: all 160 directories, plus each one we add.

Two of their sizes match ours exactly. Our 30 costs $29 and our 100 costs $79, so at both counts they charge a dollar more per directory: more than double at 30, $100 more at 100.

And their biggest plan costs $30 more than our whole catalog.

Per launchzone.co: /launch-auto rendered in a browser with all six FAQ answers opened, the homepage, /pricing, /directories (the Submission Checklist) with its directory data, /terms-of-service ("Last updated: July 25, 2026"), /privacy-policy, /llms.txt and the scripts that build the Auto Launch page, all read on 10 October 2026. Our side: the home page (pricing, savings table, FAQ, stats strip and badge section) and /terms, last updated 7 October 2026. Auto Launch tiers: 30 directories $59 ("$1.97 / directory · one-time"), 50 $99 ("$1.98 / directory") and 100 $179 ("$1.79 / directory"); the LaunchZone homepage labels the 50 tier "Best value per directory". The Submission Checklist is headed "273+ Startup Submission Sites" and lists 273 rows (271 distinct sites), 221 labelled DOFOLLOW and 52 NOFOLLOW, and its directory data marks exactly those 52 as needing a badge; sorted by its own DR column, 9 or 10 of the top 30 are among the 52 depending on ties. Their DR column is their own figure, not ours. The widget strings quoted are "auto-submitting now", shown in capitals by the page's styling, and "handled automatically · no forms to fill". Their time-savings table lists "Create an account on the directory" under "With Auto Launch" as "Still needed", and FAQ 2 ends "Nothing else is required from you." Neither the Auto Launch page nor the scripts that build it say whose email the directory accounts use or who keeps the logins. The dashboard line quoted ("Rows marked Needs your badge are waiting on you.") comes from the code of their /dashboard/directories page, where the Auto Launch buttons lead. LaunchZone's terms list Featured Launch, Pro Launch and post-launch upgrades as paid products, never mention Auto Launch, set no delivery date, name no company, address or country and say they are "governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws"; the page footer reads "© 2026 LaunchZone Co.". The /launch-auto route first appears in a LaunchZone build dated 21 September 2026. Pizza widgets: ShareSpeak's was committed on 12 December 2025 and is on the Internet Archive from 18 December 2025; ours was committed on 27 March 2026 and is on the Internet Archive from 15 May 2026; launchzone.co was re-registered on 22 June 2026 and announced by its founder on 10 July 2026; its widget is in a build dated 29 August 2026 and on the Internet Archive from 30 August 2026. Line by line, theirs has the same seven parts in the same order as ours, one of them word for word ("The price is identical. The value is not.", which first appeared on ShareSpeak). Both screenshots were taken on 10 October 2026. Our terms, verbatim: "We aim to submit your startup to every directory in your package within 2 to 3 days. However, Submitator is currently in beta and demand is higher than we can comfortably handle, so our committed ETA to deliver all directories in a package is 30 days from purchase. Starting October 7, 2026, our maximum committed ETA is reduced to 21 days from purchase." Stated by Submitator's founder: a separate description is written for every directory and each cover is cropped to the site's format; the whole form is filled; submissions are paced across days; CAPTCHAs are handled on our side; accounts are registered on dedicated emails on domains not connected to Submitator and the logins created are handed over; some directories use pooled accounts by arrangement with them; listings are fixed through a Request changes button; and a directory is added to the catalog only after a submission to it has worked end to end. Per directory: $59/30 is $1.97, $99/50 is $1.98 and $179/100 is $1.79 for Auto Launch; $29/30 is $0.97, $49/60 is $0.82, $79/100 is $0.79 and $149/160 is $0.93 for us. Differences at equal counts: $30 at 30 and $100 at 100, a dollar a directory both times; $179 against $149 is $30. Over $140 is the sum of the nine paid tiers our plans include, each at the price its directory sets, and two of those nine directories (AffyList and AlterBase) are Submitator's own. Nothing here claims the two services cover the same directories. No Auto Launch order was placed, so its delivery in practice is described only in LaunchZone's own published words. Submitator in short: $29, $49 and $79 buy 30, 60 and 100 directories picked in the dashboard, each paid once, with a replacement directory for every rejection on those plans; $149 once per project buys the whole catalog plus later additions, with at least 180 directories committed for 31 December 2026; every plan uses the same single badge component.

Auto Launch pricing: their 100 costs more than our 160

Auto Launch stops at $179 and 100 directories. Our $149 covers the 160 in our catalog now and each one added after, and our terms commit to at least 180 by 31 December 2026 or a refund in proportion to the shortfall.

Below the top, the gap holds. Their 50 ($99) costs $20 more than our 100 ($79). Their 30 ($59) costs $10 more than our 60 ($49).

One detail from their homepage: the 50 tier carries the label "Best value per directory". At $1.98 a directory it is the most expensive of their three, ahead of $1.97 for 30 and $1.79 for 100.

"Every directory" means 100 of 273

The page title reads "Auto Launch — we submit your product to every directory, by hand — LaunchZone" and the headline repeats it. The FAQ says which directories those are: "The same curated roadmap you can see on the free Submission Checklist, ordered by Domain Rating. The 100 tier covers every directory on it; the 30 and 50 tiers take the strongest links first."

That checklist has 273 directories. Their largest tier covers 100 of them and leaves 173 that no plan reaches. Their 30 covers roughly one in nine.

On our side, the biggest plan really is every directory in our catalog: all 160, and each one we add later, for $149.

You pick a tier. They pick the directories.

Their page sums up the buying flow in one line: "Build your kit, pick a tier, and we take it from there." The tier sets how many. Their Domain Rating order sets which, "the strongest links first". Their how-it-works heading reads "Three steps, and only one is yours", and that one is building the kit.

Their strongest-first order also puts the badge directories up front. Of the 273 directories on their checklist, their own data marks 52 as needing a badge on your site, and at least 9 of the 30 they rate highest are among them.

Here, at 30, 60 or 100, the list is yours to make, and the high-DR directories are as open to the $29 plan as to the $79 one. You go through the catalog in the dashboard, read the Domain Rating printed for each directory, tick the ones you want and leave out the rest.

"100% manual", says the page that is "auto-submitting now"

The title says "by hand". The FAQ says "A person submits every listing by hand from your kit." The pricing card says it a third time. Then the animated card at the top of the page counts directories off under "auto-submitting now".

Their FAQ calls manual submission "slower to run" and puts most runs at "about a week, depending on the tier". Nothing in LaunchZone's terms commits to a date.

Ours do. They aim at 2 to 3 days and cap the committed ETA at 21 days from purchase. Anything still undelivered past our committed ETA is refunded in proportion.

Their case against automation, answered

Their FAQ aims this line at services like ours: "Automated tools trip spam filters, miss custom fields and get accounts banned." Here is how we handle each of those.

Spam filters. No two directories receive the same description: we write a fresh one for each within its own length limit and crop your cover to its format. Submissions go out paced across days, not in one burst.

Custom fields. We fill the whole form, and CAPTCHAs never reach you. A directory joins our catalog only after a submission to it has worked from the first field to the last.

Accounts. We register on dedicated emails, on domains with no connection to Submitator, and the logins and passwords we create are yours to control. Some directories go through pooled accounts arranged with the directory itself, which is part of how we negotiate a lower price with it. Any listing that needs fixing goes through the Request changes button.

Their page never says whose email the directory accounts are opened with, or who keeps the logins. Their own time-savings table even lists "Create an account on the directory" as "Still needed" with Auto Launch, above an FAQ answer that ends "Nothing else is required from you."

The badges stay your job

Auto Launch's FAQ says who installs a directory's badge: "The report flags which listings expect a badge. You add the badge once, and those links go live — the same as if you had submitted them yourself." Once a run is done, their dashboard says it outright: "Rows marked Needs your badge are waiting on you."

Here you install one Submitator component, once. Each directory's badge is placed through it from our side and kept live after your next redesign, so no badge listing waits on you.

Nothing in their terms about Auto Launch

LaunchZone's terms of service, last updated 25 July 2026, list Featured Launch, Pro Launch and post-launch upgrades as paid products. Auto Launch is not mentioned. The one refund clause covers everything sold once: "All one-time paid purchases are final and non-refundable once checkout completes and the purchase is applied to your account, listing, or placement."

The terms set no delivery date and name no company, address or country; disputes fall under "applicable laws".

Ours name Adeptus Innovatio SL as the company, print its street address in Spain and are governed by Spanish law. They give a 30-day refund window under written conditions, back the committed ETA with a proportional refund and, whenever a directory turns you down on a 30 to 100 plan, let you choose another. Read our terms next to theirs at launchzone.co/terms-of-service.

The best compliment

One more thing, and this one is a smile, not a complaint. Our founder wrote the pizza story for ShareSpeak in December 2025 and rewrote it for submitator.com, where it has sat in the bottom corner since March 2026. LaunchZone opened in July. By the end of August its corner had a pizza too: a 🍕 button in the same spot, the same "Real talk" header, the same seven beats in the same order and one line word for word, "The price is identical. The value is not."

Submitator's pizza widget: a Real talk header and a story.txt tab over “Hi! Quick story about pizza and startups.”, the line “The price is identical. The value is not.” and the sign-off “Ship your startup, not your calories.”, above a pizza button

Two pizzas, one recipe.

The LaunchZone guys copy our best practices, and honestly, that is the best compliment a competitor can pay. We only wish they had copied the prices too.

What they get right

LaunchZone itself is a working launch platform, and nothing on this page is about launching there. On Auto Launch, the prices sit on the page, buying needs no sales call and each tier is one payment for one product with nothing recurring. The FAQ admits two things a sales page could easily have skipped: manual submission is slower, and badge directories need something on your site.

Which one should you buy?

For 30 directories, ours is $29 and you pick them. For 100, ours is $79 and you pick them. If you would rather not pick at all, $149 takes you to all 160 we have, which is still $30 under their 100.

LaunchZone alternative: the short answer

At the two sizes both services sell, Auto Launch costs a dollar more per directory: $59 against $29 for 30 and $179 against $79 for 100. Their biggest plan costs more than our whole catalog, they choose your directories, the badges stay with you and their terms never mention the service. Ours: you pick or take them all, one component handles every badge and our terms name the company behind it.

Their $179: 100 directories, picked for you. Our $79: 100 you pick.

Or $29 for 30 against their $59, or $149 for all 160 in our catalog. One component for every badge and the paid tier on nine directories already in the plan.

Start — from $29
The short version

Their $179: 100. Our $79: 100 you pick.

LaunchZone's Auto Launch sells 30, 50 or 100 directories for $59, $99 or $179, under a headline that says "every directory" while its own list holds 273. It picks the directories, leaves the badges to you and sells under terms that never mention the service. With Submitator you pay $29, $49 or $79 for 30, 60 or 100 directories of your own choosing, or $149 for the full 160, and one component keeps every badge live. All the submission tools compared.

FAQ

How much does LaunchZone Auto Launch cost?

Three one-time tiers, one product per payment: 30 directories for $59, 50 for $99 and 100 for $179. At Submitator the same money goes further: $29 for 30, $49 for 60, $79 for 100 or $149 once for the whole catalog of 160.

Is Submitator cheaper than LaunchZone Auto Launch?

Yes, at every size. At the two counts both services sell, Auto Launch costs exactly a dollar more per directory: 30 are $59 there and $29 here, 100 are $179 there and $79 here. Their 100 even costs $30 more than our All Directories plan, which covers all 160.

What is the difference between LaunchZone and Auto Launch?

LaunchZone is a launch platform where makers list and launch products. Auto Launch is the done-for-you directory submission service it added in September 2026, sold at launchzone.co/launch-auto. This page compares Auto Launch with Submitator and says nothing about launching on LaunchZone itself.

Is LaunchZone Auto Launch legit?

A real service, and one its seller's terms never mention. LaunchZone's terms were last updated on 25 July 2026, before Auto Launch was added in September. They name no company, address or country and say only that they are governed by “applicable laws”. Submitator's terms name the company behind it: Adeptus Innovatio SL, in Spain, under Spanish law.

Does LaunchZone Auto Launch submit to every directory?

No, 100 at most. Its headline says “every directory”, and its FAQ says “The 100 tier covers every directory on it”, meaning the free Submission Checklist. That checklist has 273 directories, so even the largest tier leaves 173 of them out and the 30 and 50 tiers “take the strongest links first”.

Can you choose which directories LaunchZone submits to?

No. The page sums up the flow as “Build your kit, pick a tier, and we take it from there.” You choose how many; their Domain Rating order chooses which. Buy 30, 60 or 100 from Submitator and the picking is yours, directory by directory, with each Domain Rating shown as you go.

Is LaunchZone Auto Launch manual or automated?

Manual, by their own copy: “100% manual — no automation, no throwaway profiles” and “A person submits every listing by hand from your kit.” The progress widget at the top of the same page reads “auto-submitting now” and “handled automatically · no forms to fill”. Their FAQ adds that manual submission is “slower to run”.

How long does LaunchZone Auto Launch take?

Their FAQ says “Most runs are live within about a week, depending on the tier.” Nothing in LaunchZone's terms commits to a date. Submitator's timing is part of its terms: 2 to 3 days is the aim and 21 days from purchase is the most we commit to. Money comes back in proportion for anything still undelivered once our committed ETA has passed.

Does LaunchZone Auto Launch offer refunds?

Only where the law requires it. LaunchZone's terms never mention Auto Launch, and their one refund clause opens “All one-time paid purchases are final and non-refundable once checkout completes and the purchase is applied to your account, listing, or placement.” Submitator's terms give a 30-day refund window under stated conditions, and when a directory rejects you on the $29 to $79 plans, you pick its replacement.

Who handles the badges with LaunchZone Auto Launch?

You do. Their FAQ: “The report flags which listings expect a badge. You add the badge once, and those links go live — the same as if you had submitted them yourself.” With Submitator you install one component on your site, once, and we place every directory's badge through it and keep it live.

What is the best LaunchZone Auto Launch alternative?

Submitator. $79 buys 100 directories you pick, against $179 for 100 picked for you, and $29 buys 30 against their $59. And $149 covers every directory in our catalog for one project, 160 today plus later additions. Every badge runs through one component, and nine directories' paid tiers are already in the price, worth over $140 at the prices those directories set. AffyList and AlterBase, two of the nine, are Submitator's own.

100 directories for $79, not $179.

Tick 30, 60 or 100 yourself, or take every one for $149. One component keeps every badge up, the paid tiers come with the plan and our terms name the company you pay.
