Two Ways Onto the Wall. The Badge Is the Free One.

Written by Submitator. Brick Launch is in our catalog and its badge is one of the badges we handle, so we are not neutral on the badge question.

Brick Launch is a launch wall. Every tool that joins becomes a brick with its own page and new bricks go into the top row, so the wall grows one row at a time. You give it a name of up to 28 characters, a URL, a one-line tagline of up to 60 and a category, and in their words the brick is "live in a minute".

Then you pick a route. "Launch with badge" is free and asks for one thing: "Put our badge on your site." "Badgeless launch" is $9 once: "Nothing to add to your site." Both list a "Dofollow link", and the line under them reads "Both options list your brick on the wall."

We take the free route for our customers and handle the Brick Launch badge automatically, so the brick goes up with its dofollow link and nobody on your team pastes the Brick Launch snippet or pays the $9.

Per bricklaun.ch, its home page, /submit, /badge, /tools, its launch blog post, the 65 brick pages at /<category>/<slug>, robots.txt and the page code that renders the submission flow, all read on 25 September 2026; nothing was submitted, verified, paid or signed into. The two routes are quoted from the choice screen as the site serves it: "Launch with badge", "Free", "Put our badge on your site.", "Dofollow link", "Verified badge", "Launch free"; and "Badgeless launch", "$9 once", "Nothing to add to your site.", "Dofollow link", "No badge", "Continue to payment", with "Both options list your brick on the wall." beneath; they match the screenshots Submitator's founder took of the same screen. The link count covers every brick page on the site: each carries two anchors to the listed product, a Visit button and a Site link in its details, and all 130 carry rel="noopener" with no nofollow, ugc or sponsored value and no redirector; the same pages requested as Googlebot returned the same rel on all 65. The brick pages do not show which route a brick launched on, so the count describes the wall as a whole rather than either route separately. Quoted rules are from /badge ("Put the badge on your site and link back to your listing. Embedded badges are what earn a listing its dofollow link." and "Sign in and the badge will point at your own listing. For now it links to the wall."), from the flow ("Any link back to the wall counts, on any page.", "No link back to bricklaun.ch found yet. Publish the change and check again." and "This plan covers the dofollow link, so the badge is optional."), from the log-in prompt on /submit and from the brick pages ("Free, dofollow, live in a minute."). The form limits of 28 and 60 characters and the 14 categories are the form's own. The header counters read "65 listed" and "136 visitors since launch", the footer "65 bricks laid"; bricklaun.ch was registered on 9 September 2026. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker, which returned 24; their header showed 15 from VerifiedDR on the same date. Payment on the badgeless route is by Stripe. Brick Launch publishes no policy on how often a badge is re-checked. Submitator's founder states that we submit customers to Brick Launch and handle its badge automatically. A Submitator plan is one payment: thirty directories for $29, sixty for $49 or a hundred for $79, each one ticked by you in the dashboard. One component places every badge and keeps it live, each rejection frees a slot for another directory you pick and any refund is governed by the 30-day conditions set out in our terms.

What goes on a brick

Four fields and a live preview ("Your brick updates as you type."). The name stops at 28 characters and the tagline at 60, and the category comes from a list of 14, from AI and Dev Tools to Games and Other. There is no logo upload and no long description: paste your URL and, per their launch post, the form "fills in the name and tagline from your own site", trimmed to fit.

That makes your own page title the first draft of your brick, so it is worth a look before you submit. The tagline also ends up as the meta description of your brick page, which carries its own title, "Its place in the wall" with a row number and how long ago it was added.

Two ways onto the wall

The free route runs through their badge. You copy it, publish it on your site and press "Check installation". If it is not there yet the answer is plain: "No link back to bricklaun.ch found yet. Publish the change and check again." Once it is found, the brick goes up with its dofollow link.

The $9 route skips all of that. It is one Stripe payment, not a subscription, and the panel says what it buys in one sentence: "This plan covers the dofollow link, so the badge is optional." Same brick, same page, same link.

Both routes need an account first, which is their rule rather than a hurdle: "An account keeps your brick yours — so you can edit it later and see how it is doing. It takes one click with Google." Email and password works too, and the form keeps what you typed while you sign in.

Where the badge points

Three shapes, a light and a dark theme, copied as HTML or Markdown. Their check is relaxed about placement: "Any link back to the wall counts, on any page." What changes is the target. The public badge page hands out a link to the wall itself, and says so: "Sign in and the badge will point at your own listing. For now it links to the wall." Inside the flow the snippet points at your own brick, which is the better link to have. This is the one the flow hands you, with your brick's own address in the link:

<a href="https://bricklaun.ch/<category>/<slug>" target="_blank" rel="noopener">
  <img src="https://bricklaun.ch/badge/brick-launch-badge-a-light.svg"
       alt="Featured on Brick Launch" width="140" height="54" />
</a>

This is the step we take off your hands. Submitator installs one badge component once and keeps every directory's badge live. On Brick Launch the badge is handled automatically: the brick goes up on the free route with a dofollow link and the $9 stays in your pocket.

Brick Launch review: the short answer

A launch wall with a clear deal on its front screen: your badge or $9, and either way a brick with a followed link, which is what every product link on the wall carried on 25 September 2026. The form is four fields, new bricks land in the top row and, in their words, a brick is "live in a minute". Take the free route, and let the badge be somebody else's job.

How to submit to Brick Launch, step by step

  1. 1

Let the form read your site first

Paste your URL before you type anything. The form pulls your name and tagline from your own site and trims them to 28 and 60 characters, so a vague page title becomes a vague brick. Fix the page title on your site first and the form does the rest.

  2. 2

Make the tagline say what the product does

Sixty characters, one line, and it doubles as the meta description of your brick page. "Simple website health checks" works; a slogan does not. Their placeholder puts it best: what your tool does, in one line.

  3. 3

Pick the category a builder would browse

Fourteen to choose from. SaaS, Marketing and Productivity hold most of the wall, so a precise category such as Dev Tools, Design or Education can put you among fewer bricks.

  4. 4

Sign in with the account that should own the brick

Google or email and password. The account is how you edit the brick later and see how it is doing, so use the one your team will still have next year, not a personal throwaway.

  5. 5

Free with the badge, or $9 without

On the free route, copy the badge from the flow so it points at your own brick, publish it on your site and press Check installation. If you would rather add nothing to your site, the $9 badgeless launch gets the same dofollow link in one Stripe payment.

  6. 6

Or let us lay it, badge included

We file Brick Launch on the free route and handle its badge automatically, alongside every other directory in your plan, so there is no Brick Launch snippet to paste and no $9 to pay.

Their $9 skips the badge. Our $29 handles it, on Brick Launch and twenty-nine more.

One payment, thirty directories you pick in the dashboard with each Domain Rating on the card and one component that carries every badge a directory asks for, Brick Launch's included, and keeps it live.

Start — from $29
The short version

Free with the badge, $9 without. Thirty for $29.

Brick Launch puts your tool on one wall as a brick with its own page, live in a minute by their account. Launch free with their badge on your site or pay $9 once to launch badgeless; both routes list a dofollow link, and all 130 product links on the wall were followed on 25 September 2026. We file it on the free route with the badge handled, as part of 30 directories for $29. The whole catalog.

FAQ

Is Brick Launch dofollow?

Both routes list a “Dofollow link” on the choice screen, and on 25 September 2026 every product link on the wall was followed: 130 of 130 across 65 brick pages carried rel="noopener" and nothing else. The free route earns the link with their badge on your site; the $9 route earns it without one.

Is Brick Launch free?

With their badge, it is. “Launch with badge” costs nothing and asks one thing: “Put our badge on your site.” The other route is “Badgeless launch” at “$9 once”, described as “Nothing to add to your site.” The line under both reads “Both options list your brick on the wall.”

What does the $9 badgeless launch get you?

The same brick and the same “Dofollow link”, with “No badge” to install. The badgeless panel explains the trade: “This plan covers the dofollow link, so the badge is optional.” It is one Stripe payment, not a subscription.

Where does the Brick Launch badge have to go?

On your site, anywhere their check can reach: “Any link back to the wall counts, on any page.” The snippet in the submission flow links to your own brick; the public badge page links to the wall until you sign in (“Sign in and the badge will point at your own listing. For now it links to the wall.”). There are three shapes in light or dark, and “Check installation” looks for it before the brick goes up.

Do I need an account to submit to Brick Launch?

Yes. Their submit page puts it this way: “An account keeps your brick yours — so you can edit it later and see how it is doing. It takes one click with Google.” Email and password sign-in is offered as well, and the form on the home page keeps what you typed while you log in.

What is Brick Launch's Domain Rating?

24 on our Ahrefs-backed checker on 25 September 2026. The header on their own site showed 15 the same day, a figure it takes from VerifiedDR. 24 is the reading on its card in our dashboard, next to every other directory in the catalog.

How big is Brick Launch?

65 bricks on 25 September 2026, which is the figure their header (“65 listed”) and footer (“65 bricks laid”) both show. The same header counted “136 visitors since launch”. New bricks go into the top row of the wall, above everything laid before them.

How fast does a brick go up?

In their words, “live in a minute”. On the free route one step comes first: their check has to find your badge after you press “Check installation”. The $9 route goes through Stripe instead and has nothing to check.

Does Submitator submit to Brick Launch?

Yes, on the free route: the brick goes up with its dofollow link, and the badge it needs is placed on your site automatically and kept live. From $29 for 30 directories you choose, one time.
