Free on Resource.fyi: Pick the Free Card, Then Pick Your Date.
Submitator files customers' products on Resource.fyi's Free Submission card. The screens and counts that follow were taken from resource.fyi on 11 October 2026.
Resource.fyi is a directory of products, tools and resources for developers and designers, run by Pimjo, the company behind TailGrids. On 11 October 2026 it held 4,111 listings in 27 categories, and the line under its home page heading ends on the offer that matters here: "or submit products or tools for free to get listed!"
Free takes one form and one choice. Five fields, one to three images, then the Free Submission card and a publish date at least seven days out. Out of that comes a dedicated page: your title and subtitle as its heading, your formatted description, up to three images and a Visit Site button pointing at your product.
Our customers go through that same free card, with a description written for Resource.fyi and the image cut to the size its form recommends.

| On the form | What it takes |
|---|---|
| Autofill Details with AI | Optional; drafts the fields from your URL |
| Title | Required, 3 to 60 characters; becomes the page address |
| Subtitle | Required, 10 to 40 characters |
| Direct link | Required; what the Visit Site button opens |
| Categories | Required, 1 to 3 of 27 |
| Description | Required, original, 300 to 5,000 characters; 50 words recommended |
| Images | 1 to 3, JPEG, PNG or WebP, 2MB each; 1270 × 760 recommended |
| Plan | Free, with a date 7+ days out; Express $5; Premium $49 |
A free submission is scheduled on Resource.fyi's calendar for a day at least seven days ahead, and in our experience the following week usually has open days. About half the projects we send do not wait that long: they pass the site's automatic scoring straight away and come back approved, with the listing page published at once.

Read on resource.fyi on 11 October 2026: the home page, /products, all 27 category pages, the submit page and the code behind it, /terms, /privacy, /support, robots.txt and the sitemap. Field labels, limits and messages, what Autofill fills in, the default choice of Premium, the three option cards and the calendar wording come from that code, and every label matches three screenshots of the empty form taken by Submitator's founder the same day; the TailGrids placeholders are the site's own. The home page and the TailGrids listing were captured in a browser that day too. The site's footer links its About to pimjo.com/about, whose product list includes TailGrids and whose timeline lists Resource.fyi among Pimjo's 2022 launches. The site's own list, walked to an empty page, holds 4,111 distinct listings, the same total its home page data gives; the 27 categories were counted in the list the form loads, in the home navigation and in the sitemap. The category totals are the site's own, with a listing counted once in each category it sits in. The address, heading, page title, meta description, card blurb, share image and structured data of a listing are read from listing pages and the page code. Link census: 238 listing pages, among them 120 spaced evenly across the whole list, 142 published through the free calendar and the 3 featured, each with exactly one Visit Site link, pointing straight at the submitted address with ?ref=resource.fyi added; 238 of 238 carry ugc (235 as rel="noopener noreferrer ugc", the 3 featured as plain rel="ugc") and none carries nofollow or sponsored. None of the 238 carries a robots meta tag, none of the 219 whose response headers were saved sends an X-Robots-Tag and each canonical points to its own address. Browser renders of 21 pages and Googlebot fetches of 4 showed the same, and all 848 card links on the home page, /products and the category pages carry ugc as well. All 142 listing pages published through the free calendar keep the site's own moderation record in their page data: the status "allow" with a note that no restricted keywords were found when nothing is flagged, and a written judgement when a word is. Of the 907 listings that carry a publish date from the free calendar, 612 are dated September 2026; of the 100 of them read in full, 72 were scheduled exactly seven days after submission, and all 25 approved free listings found with a publish date still ahead were already live at their own addresses. "About half" and "the following week usually has open days" describe Submitator's experience, per our founder (11 October 2026). Ahrefs' figure of 32 for resource.fyi came from submitator.com/domain-rating-checker; its robots.txt refuses no crawler. Nothing was filed or bought to write this page. Submitator's side rests on our founder's word: customers go to Resource.fyi through its Free Submission card (his statement of 11 October 2026), every directory in our catalog has its own description written within that site's limits and images are cut to the format each site asks for. From our pricing: thirty directories cost $29 on Starter, sixty cost $49 on Growth and a hundred cost $79 on Scale, all one-off payments. You select each directory yourself in the dashboard. When a directory rejects a submission, our terms add one more to your selection. The same terms target 2 to 3 days for a whole package, cap the commitment at 21 days from purchase and make refunds subject to the conditions they set.
Two buttons, one form
Under the home page heading, Submit Resource sits beside Browse All, and the header has a Submit button of its own. Both lead to resource.fyi/account/submit. Opened while you are signed out, that address redirects to /login first. The page is headed "Submit a Resource" over a single line: "Share your product or resource with our community."
Your own website owes Resource.fyi nothing: no badge goes on it, no reciprocal link either. The form skips logo and price fields too, and your first image does the job a logo would.

Autofill gives you a first draft
Above the fields sits an optional box, Autofill Details with AI, with the line "Enter your product's URL and we'll automatically fill in the details for you." Press Autofill and it fills in the title, subtitle, link, description and categories from your page. It also takes your page's share image as the first image.
Read what it writes before you keep it; the confirmation says the same thing: "Form filled successfully! Review and edit before submitting." And check your page's og:image first, the picture social sites show when your page is shared, because Autofill can make it the image your listing leads with.
Title and subtitle make your heading
The title field, "Resource or Product Title (Keep It Short)", takes 3 to 60 characters, and it does more than name the listing. In lower case, with hyphens where the spaces and symbols were, it becomes the page address: TailGrids lives at /products/tailgrids. It also starts the heading and the page title. The site's edit form keeps it fixed once the listing exists, so get the name right before you submit.
The subtitle, "Subtitle (Maximum 40 Characters)", needs at least 10. It follows the title after a hyphen in the heading, in the page title and in the title shown when the page is shared, so the TailGrids page reads "TailGrids - React Components, Blocks and Templates". Write it as the second half of one headline and use most of the 40.
An original description of 300 characters or more
The label states the terms: "Describe your product or resource. Content must be original, and we recommend at least 50 words." A counter under the box tracks those 50 words, and the form checks for at least 300 characters and fewer than 5,000. The editor handles headings, bold and italic, alignment and numbered or bulleted lists, so a long description can carry structure.
The opening gets reused. The first 136 characters become the listing's meta description (the text search results often show under the title) and the first 150 become the blurb on its card. Let the opening line tell a stranger what the product is and who should care, then move on to features and uses.
One to three images, best first
Under "Upload Images for Your Details Page" the form explains: "The first image will be used as your featured image. You can add up to three images, which will appear in the scroller on your details page." The size line follows, "(Recommended size: 1270 × 760 px; 2MB max per image)", and JPEG, PNG and WebP are accepted. A file over 2MB is turned away.

The first image works hardest: it leads the viewer on your page, it is the picture social sites show when the page is shared and it sits on your card in category lists. Make it a clear view of the product at 1270 × 760.
Click Free Submission, then choose the day
Three cards close the form. Premium Submission, $49 and marked "Great Value", lists an "Instant" review, "Featured for 7 days on the homepage and category page" and "All transactional emails and newsletters (currently 10k+ subscribers)". Express Submission, $5, lists an "Instant" review. Free Submission gives "7 Days" as its review and approval time.
The form starts with Premium selected and its button reading "Submit and Pay $49", so click the Free card yourself. The button turns into Submit for Free, and a Scheduled Publish Date block appears with a date seven days ahead already filled in. Change opens a month calendar, the "Review Calendar", with the rule printed beneath it: "Free submissions can only be scheduled 7 days or more from today."
Keep the suggested day or pick a later open one, then press Submit for Free. The site answers "Your product has been submitted successfully!" The route is well used: 612 listings carry a September 2026 publish date from that calendar.

What the listing page gives you
Every listing lives at its own address, resource.fyi/products/ followed by your title, open to search engines and canonical to itself. Your title and subtitle form the heading. Beneath the image viewer come your description, with its formatting kept, and buttons to share the page on X, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Facebook. An Upvote button collects readers' votes and structured data describes the listing as a SoftwareApplication. Each category you chose lists it on that category's page.

The Visit Site button is the page's own link to your product. It opens your submitted address with ?ref=resource.fyi added, so those visits are easy to pick out in your analytics. Its rel attribute includes ugc, the value for user-generated links, which Google treats as a hint and generally passes no ranking credit through. That was true of all 238 listing pages we read, and the Free card says as much with the cross beside Dofollow Link. Count the Visit Site button as a source of visitors on an indexable page, not as a followed backlink.
Our side: the free card, every field filled
Customers who choose Resource.fyi in their dashboard are filed on the Free Submission card with every field filled. The description is written for Resource.fyi alone, original as its label asks and within its limits. The image is cut to the 1270 × 760 the form recommends.
Your directories are filed on our timetable: our terms give 2 to 3 days as the goal for the whole package and bind us to 21 days after purchase at the latest. A rejection anywhere in your plan earns you a replacement: one extra directory joins your selection, and you choose which.
Resource.fyi review: list it and fill every field
Yes, list it. The free route is real and open about itself: the calendar shows its days, the date is yours to choose and the form prints the image size it wants. Autofill gives you a start, the editor gives the description structure and the page that results is open to indexing under your own title. Write the description with care, lead with your strongest image and click the Free card before you press the button.

3 to 60 characters for the title, which becomes your address and stays fixed, and 10 to 40 for the subtitle that completes the heading.

FAQ
How do I submit to Resource.fyi?
Press Submit Resource on the home page or go to resource.fyi/account/submit, which redirects to /login while you are signed out. If you like, paste your URL into “Autofill Details with AI” and review what it fills in. Then give a title, a subtitle and the direct link, pick up to three categories, write an original description of at least 300 characters and add one to three images. Because the form opens on Premium, click the Free Submission card, then keep or change the publish date and press “Submit for Free”. The site replies “Your product has been submitted successfully!”
Is Resource.fyi free?
Yes. The Free Submission card costs nothing, and your own site stays untouched: Resource.fyi requests no badge and no reciprocal link. A free listing is scheduled for a publish date at least seven days out. Two paid cards sit beside it: Express at $5, which lists an “Instant” review, and Premium at $49, which lists an “Instant” review, a week featured on the homepage and category page and a newsletter feature.
Is the Resource.fyi link dofollow?
No. The listing's own link to the product is its Visit Site button, which goes straight to the submitted address with ?ref=resource.fyi added, and on every one of the 238 listing pages checked on 11 October 2026 that button's rel included ugc, with no nofollow or sponsored. Google treats ugc as a hint and generally passes no ranking credit through it. Resource.fyi's own Free card agrees: it shows a cross beside Dofollow Link. The listing page around it can be indexed, and its canonical tag names that same page.
How long does a free Resource.fyi listing take?
The Free card gives “7 Days” as its review and approval time, and the date picker adds: “Free submissions can only be scheduled 7 days or more from today.” In our experience the following week usually has open days, and about half the projects we send pass the automatic scoring straight away and come back approved, with the listing page published at once. Express ($5) and Premium ($49) both list an “Instant” review.
What does the Resource.fyi form ask for?
Five fields and your images: a title of 3 to 60 characters, a subtitle of 10 to 40, the direct link to your product, one to three of 27 categories and an original description of 300 to 5,000 characters, with 50 words recommended. Then one to three images in JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 2MB each. An optional Autofill box can draft the fields from your URL. The form leaves out logo and price, and a badge never comes up.
What image size does Resource.fyi recommend?
1270 × 760 pixels. The form puts it as “(Recommended size: 1270 × 760 px; 2MB max per image)” and takes up to three JPEG, PNG or WebP files. The first one is your featured image: it opens the viewer on your page, it is the picture social sites show when the page is shared and it sits on your card in category lists.
Which categories does Resource.fyi have?
Twenty-seven: AI (Artificial Intelligence), API, Chrome Extensions, Cloud Storage, Colors and Gradients, Design Inspiration, Design Resources, Design Tools, Developer Tools, Fonts, Hosting, Icons, Illustrations, Logos, Marketing, Newsletters, No-Code, Open Source, Payment Gateways, Productivity, Serverless, Skill Development, Stock Photos, UI Libraries, Web Development, Web Templates and Web3. A listing can sit in up to three. AI is the biggest, with 1,968 listings on 11 October 2026, ahead of Productivity with 1,569.
What is Resource.fyi's Domain Rating?
32 on Ahrefs' scale, as our checker returned it for resource.fyi on 11 October 2026. The site's robots.txt reads “Allow: /” for every user agent, so AhrefsBot can crawl it like any search engine.
Does Submitator submit to Resource.fyi?
Yes, on its free route. Choose Resource.fyi in your dashboard and we fill in every field, write a description for Resource.fyi alone and cut your image to 1270 × 760, then file it on the Free Submission card. It can be one of the thirty directories the $29 Starter plan covers.
More submit-to guides.
Resource.fyi is free. Thirty directories are $29, each one measured.
One payment. Each directory is named with its Domain Rating on the card before you choose it, badges are installed and kept live where one is wanted and a rejection is swapped for another directory.
