How to Submit to ConfettiSaaS: The $15 Route and the Badge Route

ConfettiSaaS lists SaaS products that fire confetti somewhere in their interface, and it means that literally. The board holds 327 listings, Ahrefs rates the domain 37, and all 326 listing pages that answered point at the product's own domain with a followed link. You submit at confettisaas.com/submit, which redirects to a sign-in, so the whole flow sits behind a one-time email code or a Google account. It is one form plus a sentence about where your confetti fires, and that sentence publishes on your page.

After the form come two routes. Fast Track publishes straight away for a one-off fee, $15 on 20 August 2026, and lets you write the anchor text yourself. The free route asks for their badge on your homepage, puts you in a review queue their own form estimated at about 37 weeks, and keeps your link followed only while that badge is up, re-checked every 48 hours.

Your product has to fire confetti, and you write the sentence about it

Section 1: "By accessing or using ConfettiSaaS, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that your SaaS product incorporates confetti as a feature. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not permitted to submit or list your product." The form turns that into one text box, and the sentence you type in it is published on your listing under the heading How they use confetti.

Per confettisaas.com, its robots.txt, sitemap.xml, /terms, /privacy, /sponsoring, /pricing, /newsletter, /badge, /badge-light.svg, /who-talks-about-us, /confetti-burst-extension, /blog, its deployed JavaScript chunks and every listing page in its catalog, read on 20 August 2026. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker; no second provider was queried, and their own /api/dr endpoint returns the same 37. The two route cards, their headings, bullets, badge snippet and re-check wording are quoted from the public chunk that renders the signed-in submission screens, and were cross-read against screenshots of that flow taken on 20 August 2026; the fee itself is a server-side value that the card formats, so $15 is what the flow showed on that date rather than a published rate. No listing of ours was published and no payment was made. The wait is the same kind of value: the card template reads wait ~N weeks for the review, N arrives with the submission alongside a queue position and total, no client-side arithmetic touches it, and /api/queue and /api/stats both answer 404, so no outsider can read it. sitemap.xml holds 531 URLs: 327 listings, 25 blog posts, 156 blog tag and blog-category pages, 13 directory category pages and 10 others, and none of the 33 pagination URLs appear in it. All 327 listing entries carry a lastmod of the day it was read, 242 of them inside a two-second window; three pulls of the file 22 minutes apart moved two of those stamps while the pages themselves were byte-identical before and after, and nine archived copies of the same file carry real per-listing dates, so that stamp dates the file rather than the listing. Those archived copies put the catalog at 173 listings on 3 December 2025 against 327 on 20 August 2026, with six slugs removed across the whole series. 326 of the 327 listing URLs answer 200 and were fetched in full; the odd one carries a query string inside the sitemap and answers 404. Across those 326: robots meta is index, follow on 326, the canonical is self-referencing on 326, the Listing row reads Verified on 326 and no page on the site defines what Verified means, and each carries an anchor to the product's own domain with rel="noopener noreferrer" and a ref parameter naming ConfettiSaaS, spelled ?ref=confettisaas.com on 323 of them, with no nofollow, sponsored or ugc rel token in any of the 326 files. 307 of the 326 anchors read Visit plus the product name and 19 carry other wording, all 19 of them in the newer half of the sitemap order. Each page carries 43 outbound anchors across 12 external hosts and none of them is nofollow either. 315 of the 326 publish a How they use confetti paragraph, unedited, with a median of 15 words, 13 of three words or fewer and 84 that name no moment at all. Categories in use across the 326: Business 94, Marketing 86, Personal Life 65, Development 50, Design 24, Games 4, and three listings on newer nested categories. The WebSite, SoftwareApplication and BreadcrumbList JSON-LD blocks ship inside the hydration payload rather than as a server-rendered script element on 326 of 326, the SoftwareApplication url names the ConfettiSaaS page while the product's own domain appears only as a sameAs string, and pages served to a Googlebot user agent were byte-identical to the same pages served to a browser on 5 of 5, against a same-agent control. Terms of Service are dated 30 September 2024 and the privacy policy 7 April 2025; the terms name Gumroad as the payment processor while /sponsoring says Stripe. Eleven Wayback captures of /submit between 1 September 2024 and 22 April 2026 all answer 200 and all show a public Tally form with no account, no fee, no badge and no queue; /sign-in has no captures at all. Of 60 listed sites sampled at random, 49 answered and six of the domains no longer resolve. Submitator does not submit to ConfettiSaaS: our plans are $29 for 30 directories, $49 for 60 and $79 for 100, one-time, chosen by you in the dashboard with DR shown, a live link per completed listing, rejections credited back as +1 directory and a 30-day refund policy on the conditions in our terms.

How to submit to ConfettiSaaS, step by step

  1. 1

    Make the account first

/submit answers with a redirect to /sign-in, so nothing about the flow is reachable signed out. Sign-in takes a one-time email code or a Google account, with no password: "No password needed. Your first code automatically creates an account." The page describes itself as the place to "Submit startups, manage your submissions, and keep backlinks in one place."

  2. 2

Bring the product's own homepage, clean

The first screen has one field, Website URL, and a blocklist of about 200 domains behind it. App stores, repositories, link-in-bio pages, social profiles, shared documents and other directories are all refused with their own message, including "Directories and review sites can't be listed. Submit the product's own website." and, for their own domain, "ConfettiSaaS can't be listed in its own directory." Government, military and education TLDs are blocked outright. Type the address exactly as you want your page addressed, because the slug is built from what you paste: 39 of the 326 listings carry a stray www- in their URL and five have a whole page path folded into the slug.

  3. 3

    Let it read your site

The screen is headed "Let's build your listing." and explains itself: "Send me your homepage. I'll read the landing page, collect the useful assets, and get your listing ready for you to review." It works through "Reading the landing page", "Collecting your logo and images" and "Preparing your listing", and there is a way out of it labelled "Enter the listing details manually" if you would rather type the lot.

  4. 4

Answer the confetti question as a published sentence

The next field asks "Where and when does confetti appear?" over the example "For example: confetti fires after a customer publishes their first project." It caps at 2,000 characters and it is not a moderation note: 315 of the 326 listings print that answer under a How they use confetti heading, unedited, line breaks and emoji included. The median is 15 words and 13 answers are three words or fewer, so a written sentence stands out. One of the better ones on the board, from an uptime monitor: "Enjoy a Confetti-Powered Email if you experience zero downtime for an entire week!"

  5. 5

Read the draft back before it publishes

They make the promise a screen early, under the confetti question: "Nothing goes live until you review it. You can edit every AI-generated field before submitting." Take it literally. The About section is the part a reader actually reads, it was written from your landing page, and one listing on the board still has an About section that opens with the words "Here's a description for your product". Check the tagline and the pricing label of Free, Freemium or Paid while you are there, and note that the About field renders no Markdown, so asterisks show up as asterisks. The gallery takes up to six images or YouTube embeds, WebP, PNG or JPEG, 5 MB each.

  6. 6

Pick the category a reader would filter by

Nine categories are in use and six of them hold almost everything: Business 94, Marketing 86, Personal Life 65, Development 50, Design 24 and Games 4, with three listings on newer nested categories. Category pages are one of the few surfaces that link a listing at all, since the board itself paginates ten to a page across 33 pages and none of those pages are in the sitemap.

  7. 7

Decide the route on what happens to the link

Fast Track's ticks are "No badge on your homepage", "No editorial review and no queue" and "Your own anchor text on the link", over a "Permanent dofollow backlink" that "never depends on a badge staying up." The free card's three requirements are "The badge has to stay on your homepage", "We confirm your product really uses confetti" and "Your domain rating has to be above 0". If your domain is new, check that last one first: the flow rate-limits the homepage check to three tries in a 15-minute window.

  8. 8

Take the listing URL with you

The sitemap stamps all 327 listings with a single date and leaves every one of the 33 pagination pages out, so nothing in that file tells a crawler your page is new. Free IndexMachine indexing comes with every Submitator order at $49 and up.

What the ConfettiSaaS listing page carries

A followed link that is written into the page rather than added by script. All 326 listing pages that answered carry an anchor to the product's own domain with rel="noopener noreferrer", and nofollow appears as a rel value in none of the 326 files. The href goes to your address with a ref parameter naming them on the end, spelled ?ref=confettisaas.com on 323 of the 326. Their homepage sells the arrangement in three words, "Permanent do-follow links". The page around it is ordinary and solid: index, follow and a self-referencing canonical on all 326, your name, tagline and description in the served HTML, and a SoftwareApplication block naming your domain in sameAs. That block ships inside the hydration payload rather than as a server-rendered script tag on all 326, so a reader that runs JavaScript finds it and one that takes the raw bytes does not.

Listings also stay put. Of 60 listed sites we sampled at random, six of the domains no longer resolve, and their listings are still on the board with their links intact.

Reach is the thin part, and it is worth planning around. The homepage carries the six newest listings and nothing older, your page sits on one category page and one pricing filter, the board itself paginates ten to a page across 33 pages, and the listing pages we read link to no other listing.

The badge, and what it keeps switched on

This is the part worth reading twice, and their own wording is the clearest statement of it. The free card is headed "Add our badge, get the backlink free" and promises "Same link, same SEO value, at no cost. It switches on when we approve your listing and stays dofollow for as long as the badge is live on your homepage." Until then, in their words: "Your link is nofollow until the badge is on your homepage. Paste the code below to switch it on."

And afterwards: "The link on your listing passes SEO value to your site. We re-check your homepage every 48 hours: keep the badge up and the link stays dofollow for life, remove it and the link reverts to nofollow." The snippet you paste is their 250 by 54 badge image wrapped in an anchor to confettisaas.com carrying rel="noopener", so the thing holding your link up is a followed link out of your own homepage, running for as long as you want to keep what you were given.

The paid card is the mirror image and says so: "One payment, yours for life. The link passes SEO value to your site, never expires, and never depends on a badge staying up." A second version of it appears once you are in the queue, offering to publish now instead and, in its own words, to let you take the badge back off your homepage.

The queue is a number that moves

Thirty-seven weeks is 259 days, so a free submission started on 20 August 2026 would come up for review around 6 May 2027, badge live throughout. But treat the figure as a reading rather than a policy: the card template says wait ~N weeks for the review, N arrives from the server with a queue position and a queue total, and nothing on the page does arithmetic to it. It was 37 on the day. It is not published anywhere public, no endpoint reports it, and it will be a different number for you.

Their own blog describes an earlier version of this. An October 2025 post there says "ConfettiSaaS manually reviews each submission", and another puts "Dofollow backlink", "10-minute submission" and "Fast approval" among four things it says the board does best. Both predate the flow described above.

All of this is new

Eleven Wayback captures of their submit page, from 1 September 2024 to 22 April 2026, all answer 200 and all show the same thing: a public form, embedded from Tally, with no account, no fee, no badge condition and no queue. The wording moved from "Submit your SaaS" to "Submit your Project" and that was the extent of it. That form is now closed and says so, pointing at the new page. The sign-in wall has never been captured at all.

So the account, the drafted listing, the fee and the badge-for-dofollow arrangement all arrived somewhere between 22 April and 20 August 2026. Which is worth knowing if you read about this board a year ago and remembered it as a free form.

The board grew through the same stretch. Their own archived sitemaps put it at 173 listings in December 2025 against 327 on 20 August 2026, which is about 0.6 a day. The estimate on the card is read off the review queue, so it moves with it.

One listing here, or thirty of them.

Thirty listings for $29, and nine of the directories in that plan charge extra for the good tier if you go on your own. Your plan covers all nine.

Start — from $29

ConfettiSaaS review: is a listing worth it?

If your product genuinely fires confetti, the paid listing is a fair thing to buy. You get a page on a DR 37 domain carrying your own description and category, a followed anchor you wrote yourself, and nothing on your side to maintain, and their own copy is straight about all of it. The number to hold beside it is ours: $15 buys one door, where $29 buys thirty in our Starter plan, about 97 cents each, so a single Fast Track listing costs roughly fifteen times what one Submitator directory does and thirty doors bought one at a time there would run to $450.

The free route is the one to weigh, because its price is not zero, it is just not cash. It is a followed link out of your homepage, put up first and kept up afterwards on a 48-hour check, and the listing it buys arrives at the end of a queue you cannot see. We place badges and keep them live for the directories that gate entry behind one, so badges are not the objection. The wait is. Our own commitment is to deliver a package inside 30 days, and a badge carried for the best part of nine months before anything of yours is on the board is not a trade we can put a customer into, which is why this board is not in our catalog.

One more number for the comparison. Nine of the thirty directories in the Starter plan charge their own fee for the good listing and the plan covers every one, which is over $140 of launch fees before the other twenty-one are counted.

The short version

Fire confetti, then read the two cards.

A DR 37 board of 327 listings, followed links on all 326 we read, and an entry rule straight out of the terms: your product uses confetti, and the sentence you write about it publishes on your page. Paying publishes now and the link is yours outright. Free means their badge on your homepage, a domain rating above zero, a queue their form put at about 37 weeks, and a link that stays followed only while the badge does. The whole catalog.

FAQ

What is ConfettiSaaS?

A directory of SaaS products that fire confetti somewhere in their interface, 327 listings deep and calling itself "The most fun startups directory". Ahrefs rates the domain 37, which is also the number their own endpoint reports. Every listing gets a page with your description, your category, a pricing label and a button pointing at your site.

How much does it cost to submit to ConfettiSaaS?

The paid route cost $15 on 20 August 2026 and the badge route costs nothing in cash: those are the two options the flow puts in front of you after the form. Fast Track is headed "Publish now" and sold as "Pay once, go live in minutes, and never touch your own site." The free one is headed "Add our badge, get the backlink free" and reads "Paste the badge on your homepage, then wait ~37 weeks for the review." The fee is a server-side value rather than a published rate, and no listing fee appears anywhere on the public site. The prices they do publish are for advertising: $50 for two weeks of homepage placement and $70 for four weeks plus a newsletter slot.

Is the ConfettiSaaS link dofollow?

On the board as it stands, yes: all 326 listing pages that answered carry an anchor to the product's own domain with rel="noopener noreferrer", no nofollow, sponsored or ugc token in any of the files, and the href goes straight to your address with a ref parameter naming them on the end, spelled ?ref=confettisaas.com on 323 of the 326. What their own code adds is a condition. The function that renders those links marks one dofollow when the listing is paid, when enforcement is off, or when the listing is badge-eligible, and otherwise writes rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer".

Does ConfettiSaaS require a badge?

Only on the free route, and the badge is what holds the follow attribute up. Their own words: "Your link is nofollow until the badge is on your homepage. Paste the code below to switch it on." and "The link on your listing passes SEO value to your site. We re-check your homepage every 48 hours: keep the badge up and the link stays dofollow for life, remove it and the link reverts to nofollow." The snippet they hand you is an image wrapped in an anchor to their site carrying rel="noopener", so it is a followed link out of your homepage.

How long does ConfettiSaaS approval take?

On 20 August 2026 the free route's own card put it at about 37 weeks, which is 259 days, and Fast Track, in its own words, goes live in minutes and skips the queue altogether. Treat the 37 as a reading rather than a promise: no turnaround is published anywhere on the public site, and the number is a server value the card formats into "wait ~N weeks for the review", arriving with a queue position and a queue total. There is no public endpoint that reports that queue, so it will be a different number for you.

Does ConfettiSaaS require my product to actually use confetti?

It is in the terms rather than the marketing. Section 1 makes listing conditional on your product incorporating "confetti as a feature", and closes: "If you do not meet these requirements, you are not permitted to submit or list your product." That is a self-certification, and section 3 of the same document says they are "not responsible for verifying the validity or correctness of the submitted content". The free route's second bullet, "We confirm your product really uses confetti", is where a check is actually claimed. The paid card offers "No editorial review and no queue".

Can I choose my own anchor text on ConfettiSaaS?

That is the third tick on the paid card: "Your own anchor text on the link". Otherwise their code defaults the anchor to the word Visit plus your product name, and that default is what most of the board runs on: of the 326 listings we read, 307 read "Visit" plus the name and 19 carry wording of their own, from plain brand strings like "Microlaunch" to keyword lines like "JSON-LD schema markup generator" and "AI task management software for developers". All 19 sit in the newer half of the sitemap, and nothing published says which route put them there.

Can a brand-new domain get on ConfettiSaaS for free?

Not on the free route as its own card describes it, because the third requirement is "Your domain rating has to be above 0". A domain registered a few weeks ago usually still reads zero on Ahrefs, so check your rating before you plan on the free route. Fast Track states no rating condition: its second card says "No review to pass, no badge to keep up, and no domain rating minimum."

What does a ConfettiSaaS listing publish about you?

Your name, your tagline, an About section drafted from your homepage, a category, a pricing label of Free, Freemium or Paid, a Verified row and the button to your site. It also publishes your answer to the confetti question under a "How they use confetti" heading, unedited: 315 of the 326 listings carry that paragraph, the middle one runs to 15 words, and 13 of them are three words or fewer. Whatever you type in that box is body copy on your own page.

Is a ConfettiSaaS listing worth it?

If your product genuinely fires confetti, the $15 route is a fair buy: a page on a DR 37 domain with your own description and category, a followed anchor you wrote yourself and nothing on your side to maintain. The free route is the one to weigh, because its price is a followed link out of your own homepage, put up before anything publishes and kept up afterwards on a 48-hour check. Set either against the alternative: $15 buys one door, where $29 buys thirty in our Starter plan, about 97 cents each.

Does Submitator submit to ConfettiSaaS?

No. One route is a per-listing fee for a single door, and the other publishes at the end of a queue their own card put at about 37 weeks, with their badge on your homepage for the whole of it. Our own commitment is to deliver a package inside 30 days, so neither route fits what we sell, which is 30 directories for $29, 60 for $49 and 100 for $79, one payment, picked in your dashboard with each domain's DR on the card, rejections credited back as +1 directory and a 30-day refund policy on the conditions in our terms.
