Outrank's directory service has exactly one configuration: $500, one-time, 350+ submissions, take it or leave it. There's no smaller package, so $500 is also the minimum spend. The counts differ, and honestly: 350 is more than 100, though the count gap matters less than what those 350 actually are (that's the next section). 350 submissions, and their FAQ says where some go

The scale is Outrank's headline feature, and their own FAQ prices it honestly: "We prioritize relevant directories whenever possible, but to keep the service affordable at this scale, some submissions may go to broader business directories rather than niche-specific ones." That's the trade in their words: volume first, relevance where possible. The paid batch also isn't itemized anywhere on the site, no names, no per-directory DR, which is a curious contrast with Outrank's own free lead magnet, a hand-checked sheet of "400+ directories" with DRs listed "up to 93." The free list is bigger than the paid coverage (400+ against 350+) and documented better than the $500 product. Submitator's catalog is 100+ named startup directories, each with its DR on screen, and every one in your batch is there because you put it there.

You fill out a form. They do the rest.

Outrank's three steps, verbatim: "You fill out all the necessary information about your product through our form," then "within 6-10 days, we list your business on the most relevant platforms," then "we send you a complete report." There is no browsing, no approve step, no exclusion list, no view of where you're headed until it's done. Submitator inverts that: the catalog is the order form. You pick your 30 to 100 in the dashboard, DR visible next to each name, and skip anything that doesn't fit.

Six to ten days, then one email

The timeline, in Outrank's words: "completion within 10 business days," and "upon completion, you'll receive a detailed email report with a link to your personal Google Sheet." That sheet is where, per its process step, "you can view all placements." Fair credit: its directories page says the team "sends you proof each listing goes live," so proof exists; it just arrives as a spreadsheet when the job is over. Submitator's real browser automation finishes the whole batch in about 24 to 48 hours, and the dashboard shows each listing with a live link as it completes, so you're not waiting for an end-of-job email to find out what happened.

"Domain Authority Boost" on the page, no warranty in the Terms

The $500 package lists "Domain Authority Boost" and "Improved Search Rankings" as included line items. Outrank's Terms say, verbatim: "We make no warranty that: The Service will improve search rankings, domain authority, traffic, or revenue." Both sentences are theirs; pick the one you plan to rely on. On refunds, the service page is silent, and the Terms' only refund window covers first-time subscription payments (7 days, one per customer), after which "all sales are final and non-refundable." There's no stated credit when a directory rejects your submission, either. One more detail worth noticing: the testimonials on the service page are real people, and every one of them is talking about Outrank's content platform; none mention directory submissions. Submitator's accountability is mechanical: a 30-day money-back refund, and every rejected directory credited back as +1.

Badges and dofollow: absent at any scale

Across the whole service page, the word "badge" never appears, and neither does "dofollow." That matters twice. First, several of the strongest free dofollow listings are badge-gated: Startup Fame (DR 83), Fazier (DR 81), and Turbo0 (DR 79) all list you free in exchange for their badge staying on your site, and a service whose page never engages with badges leaves those links on the table. Second, a backlink's type is the whole point of buying it, and Outrank's page never says which kind you get. Submitator handles badges with one component (installed once, kept live, invisible option), and states its focus plainly: dofollow links from DR 40 to 90 directories, with each directory's DR visible as you pick.

When Outrank's service might fit

To be fair: Outrank is a real, registered French company (Outrank SAS, Paris) from a well-known founder, its main content platform has genuine traction, the service page plays no games (no fake scarcity, no struck-through anchor prices), its FAQ is unusually candid that ranking results take 4 to 6 weeks to start and 2 to 3 months to compound, and its free 400+ directory sheet is genuinely useful. If what you want is maximum raw submission count in a single hands-off purchase from an established operator, and the where-exactly doesn't concern you, the $500 package delivers scale nobody in this comparison matches. Submitator is the better fit when you want to choose your directories, pay about half as much per directory (from a $29 ticket, not $500), have badges handled, get dofollow as the stated focus, and watch live links land within 48 hours.
