How to Submit to Perchance AI, and What Separates $9 From $39

Perchance AI (perchance-ai.net) is an AI-tools directory holding about 3,856 English listings, on a domain registered in September 2024. Getting into it costs $9 for a "Standard Listing" or $39 for "Featured Premium", both one-time, both paid through Stripe before anything is reviewed. The form is four fields long and three of them are required, so the submission itself takes a couple of minutes.

No, Submitator doesn't submit here, so this is a how-to. Two things are worth knowing before you open the page. The $39 tier is the one already selected when it loads, so the button reads "Pay $39 & Submit" until you click the cheaper card yourself. And the listing link is a nofollow: on 25 English tool pages we sampled on 29 July 2026 the outbound link to the tool's own site carried rel='nofollow noreferrer noopener' on all 25. Paid listings carry no badge or flag that distinguishes them from seeded ones, so we can't say which of those 25 belonged to a paying submitter, and rel attributes are theirs to change. To their credit, the paid cards promise nothing about links or SEO in the first place.

Submitator math

$9 is a small sticker, and it is $20 below our cheapest plan, so nobody should pretend otherwise. The comparison that does hold is per listing: one door at $9 is about nine of ours, and their $39 tier is about forty. Our $29 plan covers 30 directories you pick in the dashboard, roughly 97 cents each. Buy the $9 listing if you want a listing on this directory. It is not a substitute for a directory run, and it is not sold as one.

Per perchance-ai.net/submit, its Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, its sitemaps and archived copies of the same pages, when checked on 29 July 2026. Listing counts are unique English URLs in sitemap-tools.xml; the site's own figure of 3865+ matches the raw row count, which carries nine duplicated slugs. The link finding is a sample of 25 English tool pages out of about 3,856; paid listings carry no badge, class or data flag that would let an outside reader identify them, so no claim is made about which listings were paid for, and rel attributes can be changed at any time. Review times are quoted as three separate strings shipping in one bundle. Refund: we found no refund clause on /terms-of-use or /privacy-policy and /refund and /refund-policy both return 404; we did not check every page on the site, and we did not reach the Stripe-hosted checkout page. Submitator does not submit to Perchance AI; it is $29 for 30 directories, $49 for 60 and $79 for 100, one-time, chosen by you in the dashboard with DR shown, badges installed and kept live, 24–48h delivery, a live link per completed listing, rejections credited back as +1 directory and a 30-day money-back refund.

How to submit to Perchance AI, step by step

  1. 1

Pick the tier before you fill anything in

Under the heading 'Choose Your Plan' there are two cards. 'Featured Premium' at $39 is rendered first, carries a 'Recommended' badge and is already selected, so the submit button reads 'Pay $39 & Submit' the moment the page loads. Clicking 'Standard Listing' at $9 flips the button to 'Pay $9 & Submit'. Both are marked 'one-time'.

  2. 2

Read the gray lines on the $9 card

The Standard card lists seven bullets. The first four are what you get; the last three, 'Featured placement', 'Review article' and 'Social promotion', are the ones you don't. The only thing separating them is color, a gray dot and gray text against green and near-black. There is no strikethrough, no crossed-out icon and nothing a screen reader or a copy-paste would carry across.

  3. 3

Fill four fields, three of them required

Tool Name, Website URL and Email Address each carry a red asterisk. Short Description is labelled 'Optional, maximum 100 characters' and its placeholder reads 'Brief description of your AI tool (optional)'. There is no logo upload, no category picker, no tags and no account to create, which makes this one of the shorter submission forms we have written up.

  4. 4

    Pay through Stripe

The button hands you to Stripe's hosted checkout, so your card details never touch their page, and the line underneath reads 'Secured by Stripe · SSL encrypted · PCI compliant'. There is no terms checkbox on the form and no refund text beside it. If you back out, a string in their code says your form data has been saved so you can continue later.

  5. 5

Wait, for one of three stated windows

The $9 card says '24-hour approval process' and the line under the button says 'Your tool will be live within 24 hours'. Their bundle also ships "We'll review your submission (usually within 12 hours)", which never renders, and an older 'Get listed in 72 hours' left over from an earlier version of the page. Plan around the 24, since that is the number they actually show you.

The Perchance AI submission form: Tool Name, Website URL and Email Address marked required with red asterisks, an optional Short Description capped at 100 characters and a purple submit button reading Pay $39 and Submit
Four fields, three required. The button already says $39.

Perchance AI pricing: $9, $39 and three gray lines

The two cards are plain enough. "Standard Listing" at $9 gives you "Permanent listing in directory", "24-hour approval process", "Searchable by users" and "Basic visibility". "Featured Premium" at $39 adds "Featured badge and highlighting", "Top placement for 3 months", "Professional review article (500-800 words)" and "Social media promotion (Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit)". Neither card mentions a backlink, a dofollow, domain authority or SEO, and no rendered page we captured makes any such claim in its own voice; the only SEO mentions we found sit inside one listed tool's own product copy. In a category that oversells link value constantly, that restraint deserves saying out loud.

The part worth slowing down on is how the $9 card shows what it excludes. Its three unavailable items are declared honestly in the underlying data, in a separate list from the four included ones. On screen that distinction survives only as color. The four included bullets get a green dot and dark text; the three excluded ones get a gray dot and gray text. There is no strikethrough anywhere on the page, no icon and no accessibility attribute, so the card's plain text reads as a flat list of seven features. If you skim it, or read it with anything that ignores color, the $9 tier looks like it includes the review article it doesn't include.

And the $39 is the tier already chosen for you. Its card is rendered first, carries the "Recommended" badge and ships with its radio input already set, which is why the button reads "Pay $39 & Submit" before you have touched a thing. That is a nudge, not a trap: the $9 card is right there, clearly priced and one click away, and the button changes the moment you use it. Use it, if $9 is what you meant to spend.

What the $39 adds, and what we could find of it

Four extras. We went looking for each of them on the pages we could reach, and came back with nothing on any of them. There is no "Featured", "Premium", "Sponsored" or "Promoted" marker in the rendered HTML of the 25 tool pages we sampled, or on the four listing pages we checked, so the "Featured badge and highlighting" is not something we could see. None of the 13 tools we sampled from their most recent cohort appears among the 84 cards on their explore page, so "Top placement for 3 months" is not visible there either.

The "Professional review article (500-800 words)" is the one that gives us most pause, because their article sitemap holds 17 English articles and the newest is dated 19 October 2024. Not one of them carries a slug matching any of the 25 tools we sampled, and the byline on all four articles we opened is "AI Team". If a paying customer got a review article written in the last twenty months, it is not in the sitemap, not on the articles page and not on the news page.

Two honest limits on all of that. This is an absence in the surfaces we captured on 29 July 2026, not proof that no such article, badge or placement exists anywhere, and non-sitemapped URLs would not show up in a check like ours. And we did not buy a listing, so we can't report on delivery from the inside. What we can say is that a buyer weighing $39 against $9 has, from the outside, no way to confirm the difference at any point.

Every listing link we checked was a nofollow

On all 25 English tool pages we sampled, spread across their sitemap rather than taken from the top, each page carries exactly two links to the tool's own website and both are marked rel='nofollow noreferrer noopener'. No sponsored token, no ugc token and no redirect hop through their own domain. The one Russian mirror we opened matched. The twelve older entries in our sample all append a utm pair to the destination; the thirteen newer ones link clean.

One contrast belongs on the record, with nothing read into it. The same tool pages each carry eleven fixed links in the footer, under a heading reading "Friendly Links", pointing at other AI and game sites. Those eleven carry rel='noopener noreferrer' and no nofollow, which makes them the only followable outbound links we found on the site. The tools listed in the directory get the nofollow; the eleven partners in the footer do not. We fetched seven of the eleven and found no link back, though we only looked at their homepages, so reciprocity is simply not established either way.

None of this is a broken promise, because no promise was made. The word backlink doesn't appear on any rendered page we captured, and neither does dofollow, domain authority or domain rating. If you are buying this listing for search value, that is a decision you are making on your own, and it is the same decision a $47 listing on TopAI.tools asks you to make. The contrast case is MagicBox Tools at $15.9, where the dofollow was real on the eleven listing pages we checked. Buy this one for the listing and the traffic it may or may not send.

It used to be free, in exchange for a link

The Wayback Machine holds five renderable captures of their submit page. On the first three, dated 3 November 2024, 15 February 2025 and 23 June 2025, there is no Stripe, no price and no plan chooser at all. The heading reads "Submit your Free AI Tool" and the instruction above the form reads "Before submitting, please ensure you add our backlink to your website. This is a crucial step for your submission to be accepted." The exchange was your link for their listing. On the fourth capture, 14 November 2025, the two paid cards are there and the free flow is gone.

Five captures is a thin record and we're not going to pretend otherwise. The change happened after 23 June 2025 and, on the evidence of their homepage bundle, on or before 13 October 2025. That is as tight as the window gets, and any month you see quoted for it is a guess. Prices have not moved since: $9 and $39 are identical on both paid-era captures, 14 November 2025 and 10 March 2026, and on the live page today.

Two leftovers from that era still ship in the JavaScript on every page we captured, never rendered. One reads "Get Do-follow links and improve your SEO". The other is the backlink instruction itself. They belong to the version of this product that no longer exists, and nobody has swept them out.

The title still says free, and the terms are dated 2023

The page you land on is titled "Submit Your AI Tool for Free Listing on Perchance AI Platform", and its meta description offers "a free listing". That is the text a search result shows you, and the cheapest thing on the page it describes is $9. Here is the fair part, and it changes the reading: that title is byte-for-byte identical in all five archived captures going back to November 2024, which means it was written when the listing really was free and simply carried across the change. It is stale copy, not bait. Stale or not, it is the line you click on.

The legal surface is thinner than the checkout suggests. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy both exist, both return 200 and both are linked in the footer, which is more than several directories in this bracket manage. Both also read "Last updated: July 1, 2023", about fourteen months before the domain was registered in September 2024. Neither contains the word refund, payment, Stripe or fee. We found no refund policy at /refund or /refund-policy, both of which 404, and there is no terms checkbox on the submit form. We did not reach the Stripe-hosted checkout page, so whatever it displays is outside what we can report.

The catalog itself has gone quiet. No tool page in their sitemap carries a modification date later than 11 November 2025, which sits against the line their own listings page renders: "Discover new AI tools added every day - 3865+ tools and counting". The footer still reads "© 2025 Perchance AI All rights Reserved". None of that stops a $9 listing from going live, and the 24-hour window may well hold. It does bear on the $39, which is partly a bet on editorial output we cannot find evidence of since October 2024.

Thirty addresses you can open yourself.

Pick the thirty directories in the dashboard, and every listing that completes hands back the URL it landed on, so the delivery is something you check rather than something you take on trust.

Start — from $29

Is a Perchance AI listing worth $9?

For $9, yes, with your eyes open. You are buying a permanent listing on a real directory of roughly 3,856 tools, through a form that takes two minutes and a checkout hosted by Stripe. We did not buy one, so the delivery is theirs to prove. There is no scarcity banner, no countdown, no struck-through anchor price and no invented discount anywhere on the site or in any archived copy of it, which is rarer in this category than it should be. The card promises a listing and nothing more, and a listing is what it sells.

The things to weigh: the link is a nofollow on everything we checked, no operator name or company is published on any page we captured, both legal pages are dated before the domain existed, we found no refund policy and the newest listing in their sitemap is from November 2025. The $39 tier is a different proposition, and we wouldn't buy it on this evidence. Its four extras are the four things we could not observe on any page we captured, and the review article it headlines would be the first article in their article sitemap since October 2024.

The short version

The $9 card sells a listing. The $39 sells four things we couldn't find.

Nine dollars buys a permanent listing whose link was nofollow on all 25 pages we sampled in July 2026, and the card is honest enough not to claim otherwise. Thirty-nine adds a badge, a top placement and a review article we could find no trace of on any page we captured. Click the $9 card yourself, because the $39 one is already selected. Our own $29 covers thirty directories of your choosing, and Perchance AI isn't one of them.

FAQ

What does a Perchance AI listing cost, and which tier is preselected?

'Standard Listing' is $9 and 'Featured Premium' is $39, both marked 'one-time'. The $39 card is the one that matters for this question: it is rendered first, carries a 'Recommended' badge and ships already selected, so the button reads 'Pay $39 & Submit' before you have chosen anything. Clicking the $9 card switches the button to 'Pay $9 & Submit'. Nothing is concealed and the cheaper tier is clearly priced, but it is the one you have to reach for.

Are Perchance AI listing links dofollow?

Not on anything we could check. We sampled 25 English tool pages on 29 July 2026 and the link out to the tool's own site carried rel='nofollow noreferrer noopener' on all 25, with no sponsored or ugc token and no redirect hop. Two caveats matter: paid listings carry no badge, class or flag that would let an outside reader tell them apart from seeded ones, so we can't say any of the 25 belonged to someone who paid, and rel attributes are theirs to change at any time. Worth adding that the paid tiers make no link or SEO claim at all, so nothing here is a broken promise.

Why does Perchance AI say 'free listing' if it costs $9?

Because the phrase predates the price. The page title reads 'Submit Your AI Tool for Free Listing on Perchance AI Platform' and the meta description offers 'a free listing', and that title is byte-for-byte identical in all five archived captures of the page going back to 3 November 2024. Submitting really was free then: on the three captures between 3 November 2024 and 23 June 2025 the form charged nothing and asked you to place a link back to them instead. The paid tiers are first captured on 14 November 2025. So it reads as stale copy carried across a product change rather than anything written to mislead, but it is still what a search result shows you.

How long does Perchance AI take to approve a listing?

The page shows one number twice and the bundle ships two more. The $9 card says '24-hour approval process' and the line under the button says 'Your tool will be live within 24 hours'. A string in the same JavaScript bundle, not shown on the page, reads "We'll review your submission (usually within 12 hours)", and an older string still shipping in that bundle reads 'Get listed in 72 hours'. We have no way to test which one holds.

Is Perchance AI legit, and is $9 worth it?

It is a real directory with about 3,856 English tool pages, a checkout that hands you to Stripe's own hosted page rather than taking card details itself, a published contact address and no scarcity theater of any kind. For $9 you are buying a permanent listing on an AI directory whose link is nofollow, and the card promises nothing more than that, which is fair. The $39 tier is where we would hesitate: its four extras include a review article of 500 to 800 words, and the newest article in their article sitemap, on their articles page and on their news page is dated 19 October 2024. If a newer one exists, it is not on any surface we checked.

Does Submitator submit to Perchance AI?

No, which is why this is a how-to rather than a pitch. The two are also different purchases. Their $9 buys one listing on one AI directory. Our $29 plan submits you to 30 AI and startup directories you choose yourself, one-time, with badges installed and kept live, a 24 to 48 hour batch, the address of each listing handed back as it completes, rejections credited back as +1 directory and a 30-day money-back refund. Plans from $29.

A refund policy you can actually read.

$29 submits you to thirty AI and startup directories of your choosing, in one payment. If it doesn't work out you have thirty days to ask for the money back, and the policy that says so is a page on this site rather than a sentence nobody wrote.
