How to Submit to AllTopStartups (DR 59)

AllTopStartups (alltopstartups.com) is one of the older names in this space: a startup blog founded in 2010 (its about page's date; the domain goes back to 2009), still actively posting in July 2026, run by a named founder (Thomas Oppong) and published by Content Intelligence Media LLC, with an independent DR of 59 per FrogDR. Submitting means paying: the free tier has been "currently suspended" since at least January 2022, and the live options are $39 for a directory listing, $79 for premium (listing plus a blog review and a month of homepage featuring) or $99 for the review-first flow, all one-time via Stripe.

Part submission guide, part AllTopStartups review: this guide adds what the page doesn't. The prices live inside Stripe buttons, not the copy, and the site's own directory subsite still sells the same listing at $29; the basic price rose $29 to $39 between April and July 2026; the word "Dofollow" was removed from the pitch while the self-reported DA climbed; the audience numbers disagree with each other on a single page; and no purchase terms or refund policy exists anywhere on the site.

Submitator math

$39 at AllTopStartups buys one listing in one directory. Submitator's $29 plan submits you to 30 directories you pick in the dashboard, for $10 less. And their $79 premium is the exact price of our 100-directory plan: same money, one listing plus one review there, a hundred doors here.

Prices are the live Stripe buy-button products on alltopstartups.com/submit-startup/, July 2026: 'AllTopStartups Directory Listing' $39, 'Directory Listing (Premium)' $79, 'Product Review at AllTopStartups (Premium)' $99, all one-time USD; the directory subsite's own submit page still carries an active $29 button for the same listing product, and archived copies show $29 as the basic price through April 2026 and the review at $89 through November 2025. The free tier's suspension line ('Getting featured is free but we have currently suspended free listings.') appears verbatim in archives since January 2022. The current page promises 'Backlink (DA 73)'; the July 2025 version said 'Dofollow backlink (DA 66)'. On the seven recent posts and two directory listings we sampled, links to featured companies carried no nofollow and no rel=sponsored; the rel attribute is theirs to change. DA 73 is its own Moz-metric claim; the independent figure is DR 59 per FrogDR. No purchase terms or refund policy exists (the site's only terms page is content-locker plugin boilerplate); the publisher is named as Content Intelligence Media LLC. Audience figures are its own and vary ('76K', '80K', '70,000+' Twitter followers; '30,000' vs '50,000+' monthly page views). Per its pages when last checked (July 2026).

How to submit to AllTopStartups, step by step

  1. 1

Pick one of the three Stripe buttons

The page shows the bullets; the prices appear in the embedded Stripe buttons: $39 directory listing, $79 premium, $99 review. (The closing note still mentions PayPal, but no PayPal button exists on the live page.)

  2. 2

    Pay first

Checkout is a Stripe buy button, one-time. No purchase terms are linked anywhere in the flow, and no refund policy exists on the site; the only 'Terms of Use' page is boilerplate from a content-locker plugin.

  3. 3

Listing and review within 48 hours, they say

'Startup directory listing in less than 48 hours' on both listing options, 'Review within 48 hours' on the $99 flow. The listing lands on the HivePress directory subsite with a green verified check icon on the listing page.

  4. 4

The review, if you bought one

'Product/startup reviews are custom written posts, published and distributed across our social media channels multiple times in the week of publication.' The recent one we measured ran about 386 words, bylined by the site's founder.

The price ladder: $39, $79, $99 (and a $29 leftover)

The submit page never prints a price in its copy; the numbers live inside three Stripe buy buttons, which resolve to $39 for the "DIRECTORY OPTION", $79 for the "PREMIUM OPTION" and $99 for the "Startup review premium option". Meanwhile the site's own directory subsite still carries an older, active button selling the same listing product at $29, so which price you pay depends on which of their pages you found. The archives fill in the direction of travel: $29 was the basic price through April 2026, $39 by July, and the review rose from $89 to $99 between November 2025 and February 2026. All of it one-time via Stripe, which deserves the credit it earns: no subscription, no fake countdown.

"Currently suspended" since January 2022

The free path exists as a sentence: "Getting featured is free but we have currently suspended free listings. We are reviewing backlog of hundreds of startup submissions. You can skip the waiting queue." That sentence, "currently" and all, appears verbatim in archived copies from January 2022, May 2024, July 2025 and today. Four and a half years is a long "currently". Functionally the site sells paid placement, and the copy around it shows its age in other ways: the page's title tag is stuffed with unrelated blogger-for-hire keywords, the copy explains that payment covers the effort to "punish and maintain listings", where it means publish, and a list announcing "a couple of things" numbers them 1 and 3.

"Backlink (DA 73)": the word that left

In July 2025 the pitch read "Dofollow backlink (DA 66)". Today it reads "Backlink (DA 73)": the dofollow promise removed, the self-reported Moz DA up seven points. For calibration, the independent tracker FrogDR puts alltopstartups.com at DR 59, a genuinely solid figure. To their credit in practice: on the seven recent posts and two directory listings we checked, the links to featured companies carried no nofollow and no rel=sponsored, so the links are followed as delivered, and none of the sampled posts carries a sponsored-content label. As everywhere, the rel attribute is theirs to change silently.

What the audience numbers say (all four of them)

The distribution pitch rests on reach, and the site quotes its own reach four ways on one page: "76K followers" in the premium bullets, "over 80K followers" in the review pitch, "Twitter Followers: 70,000+" in the stats block and "Getting in front of 50,000+ potential customers/users in a single week" in between. Page views are "Over 30,000" monthly on the submit page and "over 50,000+" on the advertise page. We take none of them as fact, and they don't agree with each other. What we could measure: the recent review we sampled is about 386 words, bylined by the founder. That's the product behind the $79 and $99 tiers, alongside the listing.

No purchase terms, a plugin's terms

The storefront runs on Stripe, but no purchase terms govern it: the site's only "Terms of Use" page is boilerplate from a content-locker plugin, opening with "This Terms of Use explains the operation principle of the Content Lockers on this website", and no refund or guarantee language appears anywhere on the submit page. An earlier version at least said "We reserve the right to not publish your startup for any reason."; that line is gone too. The footer does name a real publisher (Content Intelligence Media LLC) and the about page a real founder, which is more accountability than much of this market, and exactly why the missing paperwork stands out. Submitator's terms fit in a sentence: 30-day money-back, rejections credited +1.

Same $79, different universes

Now the math this guide exists for. Their $39 entry buys one listing in one directory; Submitator's $29 plan, $10 cheaper, submits you to 30 directories you pick in the dashboard, about $0.97 per directory against their $39 per door. Their $79 premium is the exact sticker of Submitator's top plan, and the same money buys different universes: one listing plus one ~400-word review on one DR-59 domain there, versus submissions to 100 directories you pick, each with its DR on screen (the catalog runs up to DR 93), dofollow links as the stated focus, badges installed and kept live where directories require them (that's what unlocks Startup Fame at DR 83, Fazier at DR 81 and Turbo0 at DR 79), the whole batch in 24 to 48 hours with a live link per completed listing, rejections credited +1 and a 30-day money-back refund. Their $99 review flow costs $20 more than our biggest plan. Their 48-hour listing promise, to be fair, matches our pace; the difference is how many doors open when the clock stops.

Submitator does not submit to AllTopStartups; the comparison is what the same money buys. Their prices are the live Stripe buy-button products on the submit page in July 2026 ($39 / $79 / $99, one-time; the directory subsite still shows a $29 button for the same listing product). Links on the posts and listings we sampled were followed; the current pitch says 'Backlink (DA 73)' (its own Moz figure; FrogDR tracks the domain at DR 59) and no longer uses the word dofollow. Submitator's $79 plan covers 100 directories you pick (plans from $29 for 30), badges handled, live link per completed listing, rejections credited +1, 30-day money-back refund.

$39 opens one door. $29 opens thirty.

Pick your 30 in the dashboard with DR on screen, badges handled, batch submitted in 24 to 48 hours, live links as listings complete. $29 one-time, plans up to 100 directories.

The short version

Same $79. One domain there. A hundred doors here.

A genuinely old, genuinely active blog with a real founder behind it, selling one door at a time under a free tier that's been "currently suspended" since January 2022, with no purchase terms behind the Stripe buttons. The math didn't need the flags anyway.

FAQ

How much does it cost to submit to AllTopStartups?

Three one-time options, priced inside Stripe buy buttons rather than the page copy: the 'DIRECTORY OPTION' at $39 (Stripe product 'AllTopStartups Directory Listing'), the 'PREMIUM OPTION' at $79 ('Directory Listing (Premium)') and the 'Startup review premium option' at $99 ('Product Review at AllTopStartups (Premium)'). Two wrinkles from our July 2026 check: the site's own directory subsite still carries an older live button selling the same directory listing at $29, so two prices coexist on two of their own pages, and archived copies show the basic price moving from $29 to $39 between April and July 2026, with the review at $89 as recently as November 2025. Credit where due: every option is genuinely one-time, no subscription.

Is AllTopStartups free to submit to?

The page says it is, then suspends it: 'Getting featured is free but we have currently suspended free listings. We are reviewing backlog of hundreds of startup submissions. You can skip the waiting queue.' That sentence, 'currently' included, appears verbatim in archived copies going back to January 2022, four and a half years of a temporary suspension. In practice the paid options are the way in.

Are AllTopStartups links dofollow?

In practice, on what we checked, yes: across seven recent posts and two directory listings, links to the featured companies carried no nofollow and no rel=sponsored. On paper the promise has shrunk: the July 2025 page said 'Dofollow backlink (DA 66)'; the current page says only 'Backlink (DA 73)', the word dofollow removed while the self-reported Moz DA climbed 66 to 73. For an independent number, FrogDR tracks alltopstartups.com at DR 59. As always, the rel attribute is theirs to change.

What do AllTopStartups' $79 and $99 options actually buy?

Both add a review on the AllTopStartups blog to the directory listing ($79 also features you on the homepage for a month; $99 is the review-first flow with a priority queue). The page pitches distribution to a large audience, but its own numbers disagree with each other: the submit page cites '76K followers', 'over 80K followers' and 'Twitter Followers: 70,000+', puts monthly page views at 'Over 30,000', and the advertise page says 'over 50,000+ page views a month'. The one recent review we measured ran about 386 words, bylined by the site's founder.

Is AllTopStartups legit?

The site is real and old: founded in 2010 per its about page (the domain dates to 2009), still posting in July 2026, with a named founder (Thomas Oppong, whose bylines it cites) and a named publisher (Content Intelligence Media LLC) in the footer. DR 59 per FrogDR. The flags are the paperwork and the copy: no purchase terms or refund policy exists (the site's only 'Terms of Use' page is boilerplate from a content-locker plugin), the free tier has been 'currently suspended' since January 2022, two different prices for the same product are live at once, the audience numbers contradict themselves across pages and the submit page's title tag is stuffed with unrelated blogger-for-hire keywords. Real site, loose storefront.

Does Submitator submit to AllTopStartups?

No, Submitator doesn't submit to AllTopStartups. The comparison is the point: their $39 entry buys one listing in one directory, $10 more than Submitator's $29 plan, which submits you to 30 directories you pick, roughly $0.97 per directory against their $39 for a single door. Their $79 premium is the exact price of Submitator's top plan, which covers 100 directories you pick in the dashboard with each directory's DR on screen (the catalog runs up to DR 93), dofollow links as the stated focus, badges installed and kept live, the whole batch in 24 to 48 hours with a live link per completed listing, rejections credited +1 and a 30-day money-back refund. Their $99 review option costs $20 more than our biggest plan.
