CtrlAlt.CC is a daily launch board and curated tools directory run by a solo maker, rated 50 by Ahrefs, with 4,867 products indexed and roughly nine new listings on each day it publishes. Submitting is free, the form is three fields, and the listing you get carries a plain dofollow link to your site.
We sampled 80 of those listings at random. Every single one had exactly one outbound link to the product it was about, and every single one was dofollow. Not one nofollow, not one missing link, not one noindexed page. For a directory that charges nothing, that is the best possible answer.

Per ctrlalt.cc, its launch form, its /directory and /product-of-the-week pages and its Yoast sitemaps, all read on 2 September 2026. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker, which returned 50; no second provider was queried. The link finding is a census: their five product sitemaps list 4,867 product URLs, we drew a seeded random sample of 80, fetched every one, parsed the HTML rather than pattern-matching it, and classified each outbound anchor by hostname. All 80 fetched successfully at 91-94 KB, all 80 carried exactly one link to the listed product's own domain, and on all 80 that anchor had no rel attribute, so it passes equity; none of the 80 carried a robots noindex and all had a canonical tag. We did not sample the other 4,787, and a directory can change its markup at any time. The $39 line, the one-paragraph description cap, the launch-date dropdown, the maker checkbox and the note that submitting approves a screenshot of your site are quoted from the form itself; the queue warning, "the current review queue can significantly delay this", is their wording. Newsletter recency is from their own Product of the Week archive, whose most recent issue is #40, and from post sitemap dates ending 10 April 2023. Make your homepage presentable first
The fine print under the button is easy to miss: by submitting, you approve a screenshot of your website being displayed alongside your product. That screenshot is taken from whatever is live when they process you, so a half-finished hero or a cookie banner covering the fold ends up in the listing. Check the page on a fresh browser before you file.

One field, and it is the field that matters, because it becomes the dofollow link. Use the canonical version of your domain, the one you actually want ranking, rather than a landing page variant or a link with tracking parameters glued to the end.

The label is explicit about the cap: one paragraph maximum. So lead with what the product does in plain words, not with the origin story. Their own placeholder is the model to copy, a single sentence naming the job the tool does.

Why this one is worth your two minutes
