How many directories can I submit my startup to?
There are well over 100 worthwhile directories. Submitator covers 100+ real, maintained ones and lets you pick how many: 30 on the Starter plan, 60 on Growth, 100 on Scale.
Do I get to choose the directories?
Yes. From your dashboard you browse the full catalog, filter by category or Domain Rating, exclude ones you're already listed on, and submit only where you want.
Are the backlinks dofollow?
Almost always, and where they do not we say so. We only submit to real, maintained directories, and the great majority of their listings pass dofollow link value; the rare one that does not is marked “no equity” on its card here, whether it withholds it with a nofollow attribute or by routing the link through a redirector its own robots.txt blocks, because a Domain Rating next to a link like that tells you nothing about what the link is worth. This page bands them by Domain Rating and prints the real number on every card, so you can see what each one is before you pick it. No junk networks, no dead links.
Should I submit to directories manually or automate it?
