Exactly one page in the whole catalogue carries nofollow. A rel=canonical is present on all 207.
At $29 on a domain rated 16, that is a small, straightforward purchase and nothing about it is oversold. Their second tier, "Be A Sponsor" at $59.99 a year, adds a sponsor rotation, a monthly guest post and a mention in the newsletter. The report that names them arrives after you have paid for them.
And their own sentence describes the hundred as "100+ relevant and free directories". That word is theirs. It does not make the service pointless, because a hundred manual submissions is genuinely a day of work and their bullet claims "Save 70+ hours of manual work".
