How to Launch on LaunchIgniter, Now That It Costs $12
LaunchIgniter is a weekly launch board that runs a weekly launch cycle on a domain registered in October 2024 that FrogDR puts at DR 75. Launching used to be free. It is now $12.00 for "Basic Launch" or $15.00 for "Pro Launch", both one-time, and the free tier is switched off in their own pricing payload by a flag reading freeLaunchEnabled false. This page is about that launch product. Their separate done-for-you directory-submission service at $99 and up is a different thing on the same domain and we cover it elsewhere.
No, Submitator doesn't submit here, so this is a how-to. And before the price change becomes the story, here is the more useful finding: the free listing was a nofollow for almost everyone. LaunchIgniter marks every listing paid or not in its own page source, so we read that flag and the rel attribute together across 39 live product pages: every listing flagged isPremium false carried nofollow and ugc, every isPremium true one a real dofollow. So what went away between June and mid-July was a free listing, not a free backlink.
$12 buys one launch week and one link. $15 adds two more, on two of their own smaller sites. Both are good prices for what they are. Against 30 startup directories you pick in the dashboard for $29, about 97 cents each, their $15 is roughly fifteen of our doors, though three links from one operator and thirty doors you chose are not the same unit. Buy the launch for the launch, not as a substitute for a directory run.

Per launchigniter.com/pricing, its Terms and archived copies of the same page, when last checked in July 2026. Tiers: 'Basic Launch' $12.00 'one-time' with '1 week homepage visibility', 'Lifetime dofollow backlink' labelled '(DR 75)', 'No badge verification required' and 'No waiting period'; 'Pro Launch' $15.00, badged BEST VALUE, adding lifetime dofollow links from StartupTrusted (DR 49) and SaaSGrow (DR 46), both figures theirs. The pricing payload carries backlinks arrays of ['launchigniter.com'] and ['launchigniter.com','startuptrusted.com','saasgrow.app'], launchesAllowed 1 on both and freeLaunchEnabled false. Archived captures show a 'Free Launch' tier at $0 in every copy from 8 November 2025 through 2 June 2026 and none by 15 July 2026; the paid entry ran $4.99, $6.99, $9 and now $12.00 across the same period while their claimed DR rose 65 to 75. The 2 June Pro card advertised '5 launches per product'; today's does not. Link check: 39 live product pages, 27 flagged isPremium true carrying rel='noopener noreferrer', 12 flagged isPremium false carrying rel='noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc', four of those through launchigniter.com/api/redirect, a path their robots.txt disallows. FrogDR returns DR 75 for the domain. Terms: 'Premium features are non-refundable once activated.' Submitator does not submit to LaunchIgniter; it is $29 for 30 directories, $49 for 60 and $79 for 100, one-time, chosen by you in the dashboard with DR shown, badges installed and kept live, 24–48h delivery, a live link per completed listing, rejections credited back as +1 directory and a 30-day money-back refund.
How to submit to LaunchIgniter, step by step
- 1
Sign in first
The form at launchigniter.com/submit is behind auth. Logged out it shows 'Sign in to Launch Your Product' and a three-step gate, Sign In then Complete Profile then Submit Product. Google and GitHub are offered.
- 2
Fill six required fields
Product Name (at least 2 characters), Tagline, capped at 60 characters and enforced by the validator, Description (at least 10 characters), Website URL and a square Product Logo, 'min 400x400px, max 4MB'. Categories are required too: pick one to three.
- 3
Add the optional extras
Up to four screenshots at 4MB each, drag to reorder, plus a Demo Video URL that has to be a real YouTube host. There is also an import shortcut if you have launched before: their form offers to pull your details from ProductHunt or Peerlist rather than retyping everything.
- 4
Answer the two radio questions
'Is this project open source?' and 'Is this project vibe coded?', both defaulting to No. They are on the record for the listing, so answer them the way you would want quoted back.
- 5
Pick Basic or Pro and schedule
Both CTAs on the pricing page lead to /submit rather than a checkout. Launches start together: 'All launches begin at 00:00 Monday UTC. Your product will be featured on our homepage for exactly 7 days from this time.' Pick your Monday before you pay, because it is one launch per product.

LaunchIgniter pricing: $12 and $15, and what moved
"Basic Launch" is $12.00, one-time, for "1 week homepage visibility" and a "Lifetime dofollow backlink" from a DR 75 domain, with "No badge verification required" and "No waiting period". "Pro Launch" is $15.00 and adds two more lifetime dofollow links, from StartupTrusted at a claimed DR 49 and SaaSGrow at a claimed DR 46, both of which are the same operator's other properties. The ladder has climbed steadily: archived pricing pages show $4.99 in November 2025, $6.99 in December, Basic $6.99 and Pro $9.99 in January 2026, Basic $9 and Pro $12 in March, then the current $12 and $15 by June. Their claimed DR rose alongside it, 65 to 70 to 72 to 74 to 75, and that last figure checks out. One thing went the other way while the price went up: the June Pro card advertised "5 launches per product", and today both tiers carry launchesAllowed 1.
LaunchIgniter's free launch is switched off, not just removed
Archived copies show a "Free Launch" tier at $0 in every capture from 8 November 2025 through 2 June 2026, and none by 15 July 2026. The Wayback record has no capture between those two dates, so that is as tight as the window gets. What today's page has instead is a flag in its own pricing payload, freeLaunchEnabled set to false, and a box where the free card used to be: "Looking for a Free Launch? List your product for free on SaaSGrow.app and get discovered by thousands of users." SaaSGrow is one of their own sites, and by their own numbers it is DR 46 rather than DR 75. Flipping a flag is a normal way to retire a tier. The part worth checking before you plan around it is how much copy still describes the tier that flag turned off.
What the 39 pages actually show
This is the finding that should change what you do. We fetched 39 live product pages in July 2026 and read the raw rel attribute on each outbound link to the product's own site. Every one of the 27 pages flagged isPremium true carried rel="noopener noreferrer", a genuine followable link pointing straight at the destination with a ?ref=launchigniter parameter. Every one of the 12 flagged isPremium false carried rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc", and four of those also went through launchigniter.com/api/redirect, a path their own robots.txt disallows. Zero exceptions either way. Sold as a dofollow, shipped as a dofollow, on 27 of 27. And their old free card said exactly this, in their words, "Dofollow backlink (Top 3 only)". So if you are mourning the free tier for SEO reasons, there was mostly nothing there to mourn. You can check any listing yourself in seconds: the isPremium flag sits in the page source.
Copy that still describes a tier you can't buy
The flag flipped faster than the writing. The FAQ on the live pricing page still asks "What's the difference between Free, Basic, and Pro?" and still answers "Free launches require badge verification with a waiting period, and only top 3 products get backlinks." The page's meta description still promises "Free and Premium options available". The Terms, last updated the day before we checked, still say "Free users can schedule one launch per product." and list "Dofollow backlinks on product pages (vs nofollow for free products)". Meanwhile the structured data on the same pricing page has been updated and asks only "What's the difference between Basic and Pro?" None of this changes what you get for $12. It does mean that if you arrived expecting a free launch because a page said so, the page was out of date rather than wrong at the time.
One launch per product, and no refund
Two constraints to decide on before you pay rather than after. Their FAQ is blunt about repeats: "Each product can be launched one time. Make sure your product is ready before scheduling your launch!" That is one launch ever, not one per year, so it is worth spending the tagline and the screenshots properly. And their Terms say "Premium features are non-refundable once activated." Between those two, the practical advice is to have your logo, your four screenshots and your Monday picked before you check out, and to treat the launch as a one-shot.
Your launch week is seven days. Use all of them.
Launches start Monday and the batch comes back inside two days, so start the other thirty doors the same morning and let both run at once.
Is a LaunchIgniter launch worth $12?
Yes. A followable link from a DR 75 domain for twelve dollars, paid once, is a fair deal, and the DR survives checking: FrogDR returns exactly the 75 they advertise, and their claimed figure has tracked upward across every archived snapshot from November 2025 to June 2026 rather than being invented. You get a full week on the homepage rather than a 24-hour window, launches run on a predictable Monday cadence, and the paid tiers drop the badge requirement and the waiting period the free tier used to carry. The founder, Maulik Dhameliya, is publicly identifiable rather than a support address. The things to weigh: we found no company name, registration number or address on their about, terms or privacy pages, premium features are non-refundable once activated, it is one launch per product forever and the extra $3 for Pro buys links from two sites whose DR figures are theirs rather than independently checked.
The free tier went. The free link was top 3 only.
$12 buys a real dofollow from a real DR 75 domain and a week on the homepage, once, for one product ever. The free tier it replaced was nofollow and ugc on all twelve pages we checked, exactly as their own old card said. Separately, thirty startup directories you choose yourself are $29 with Submitator, and we don't submit to LaunchIgniter.
FAQ
How much does it cost to launch on LaunchIgniter?
Two one-time tiers as of July 2026. 'Basic Launch' is $12.00 and gives '1 week homepage visibility' plus a 'Lifetime dofollow backlink', labelled '(DR 75)' on the line beneath, with 'No badge verification required' and 'No waiting period'. 'Pro Launch' is $15.00, badged BEST VALUE, and adds two more lifetime dofollow links, from StartupTrusted (which they put at DR 49) and SaaSGrow (DR 46). Both are one launch per product. There is no free tier on the page any more, and their own pricing payload carries the flag freeLaunchEnabled set to false.
Did LaunchIgniter used to be free?
Yes. Archived copies of its pricing page show a 'Free Launch' tier at $0 in every capture from November 2025 through 2 June 2026, and it is gone by the 15 July 2026 capture, so the removal falls somewhere in that window and the archive cannot narrow it further. In its place the page now points you to a sister site, in a box headed 'Looking for a Free Launch?' that reads 'List your product for free on SaaSGrow.app and get discovered by thousands of users.' The paid ladder moved in the same period, from $4.99 in November 2025 to $6.99, then Basic $9 and Pro $12, and it now reads Basic $12 and Pro $15.
Was the free LaunchIgniter listing a dofollow backlink?
Mostly no, and this matters more than the price change. We fetched 39 live product pages in July 2026 and read the raw rel attribute on each outbound link. All 27 pages flagged isPremium true carried rel='noopener noreferrer', a real dofollow. All 12 flagged isPremium false carried rel='noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc', and four of those also routed through launchigniter.com/api/redirect, a path their own robots.txt disallows. That matches what their old free tier said it was: 'Dofollow backlink (Top 3 only)'. So for most people the free listing was never a link. Their own card reserved it for the top 3, and none of the 12 non-premium pages we sampled carried one.
Is the paid LaunchIgniter backlink real?
Yes, and they deliver exactly what they sell. Every one of the 27 paid listings we sampled carried a followable link straight to the product's own domain with a ?ref=launchigniter parameter and no redirect hop. The DR 75 they advertise is also honest: FrogDR returns 75 for launchigniter.com, matching their own drValue string exactly, and their claimed figure has tracked upward across archived snapshots from 65 to 75 rather than being picked once and left.
Can you launch more than once on LaunchIgniter?
No. Their FAQ says 'Each product can be launched one time. Make sure your product is ready before scheduling your launch!' and both tiers carry launchesAllowed 1 in the pricing payload. Worth knowing if you saw an older page: the 2 June 2026 capture advertised '5 launches per product' on the Pro tier, and that entitlement is gone from the July page while the price went from $9.99 in January to $15. Their Terms also state 'Premium features are non-refundable once activated.', so decide before you pay.
Does Submitator submit to LaunchIgniter?
No, so this is a how-to rather than a pitch, and the two are different purchases. Their $12 buys one launch week and one dofollow from a DR 75 domain, which is genuinely good value for what it is. Our $29 buys 30 startup directories you choose yourself in the dashboard with each one's DR on screen, about 97 cents each, one-time, with badges installed and kept live, a 24 to 48 hour batch, a live link per completed listing, rejections credited back as +1 directory and a 30-day refund. Note we also have a separate page about LaunchIgniter's done-for-you directory-submission service, which is a different product on the same domain at $99 and up.
More submit-to guides.
Thirty doors, and you name them.
Every directory listed with its DR, picked by you, badges installed and kept live, a live link as each one lands. $29 one-time, 30 days to change your mind.
