AI Tools One Charges $44.99 for "Link Juice" and Ships a Nofollow Link

AI Tools One is an AI-tool directory on a domain Ahrefs rates 37. Its own browse counter prints 647 tools; its sitemap declares 591, and the 591 are what we read end to end. The cheapest price on its submission page is $44.99, paid up front, before you have submitted anything, and there is no free route anywhere on the site. Their submission page shows two packages and never mentions links. The stores that take the money name the product differently: on their live storefront it is "Basic Submission + Link Juice" at $44.99 and "Featured Package + Link Juice" at $89.99, each described with the line "Additional benefit: SEO link juice (dofollow)".

So the only question worth asking is what the money buys. We fetched every one of the 591 listing pages in their sitemap and read the Visit Site anchor on each. 558 of the 591 carry rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow sponsored", which passes no ranking value to the site being listed. And on 319 of the 591 that anchor does not point at the listed tool at all: it points at an aitoolsone.com/go/ address of their own that redirects onward.

Sold as dofollow. Served as nofollow sponsored.

Their PayPal checkout files the $44.99 under "Basic + Link Juice", and a second storefront of theirs, live and taking orders, describes the same product as "Get your tool listed on AIToolsOne.com within 48 hours." followed by "Additional benefit: SEO link juice (dofollow)". The anchor that arrives on a listing page, this one from /tool/mockey-ai/, reads:<a href="https://mockey.ai" class="ToolDetails_visitButton__idOC3" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow sponsored">Visit Sitenofollow tells search engines not to pass ranking value and sponsored marks the link as paid placement. That is the anchor on 558 of the 591 listing pages.

Per aitoolsone.com, its robots.txt, sitemap.xml, /submit-ai-tool/, /about/, /contact/, /terms/, /privacy-policy/, its deployed JavaScript and every listing page in its sitemap, read on 22 August 2026. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker; no second provider was queried. Nothing was submitted, no account was created and no payment was made. The sitemap holds 690 URLs, of which 591 are /tool/ pages, 43 are best-ai-tools listicles, 18 are comparison pages and 15 are search pages. Their own /ai-tools/ payload prints totalTools 647 across totalPages 54, so 56 tools are browsable on the site without being declared in the sitemap; the 591 in the sitemap are the base for every count on this page. Four pulls of the sitemap over 20 minutes were byte-identical, and on three tool pages checked against Internet Archive captures spanning the stamped date the body text was unchanged, so the lastmod values are stable but do not mark an edit. All 591 listing pages were fetched and all 591 answered 200. Across them: the Visit Site anchor carries rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow sponsored" on 558 and rel="noopener noreferrer" on 33; five of those 33 hrefs carry a ref or utm parameter against 98 of the 239 nofollowed direct links, 27 of the 203 distinct hosts in the tool-card grid are followed and are followed in every slot they appear in, and nothing published explains the split. The anchor is server-rendered and present on all 591, pointing at the listed tool's own domain on 272 of them and at an aitoolsone.com/go/ address on 319, no meta robots tag is present on any of the 591, the canonical is self-referencing on all 591, the SoftwareApplication block sets url to the AI Tools One page on 591 of 591, and across every URL-valued JSON-LD field on those 591 pages the listed tool's own domain appears zero times. 588 of the 591 print "No reviews yet. Be the first to review this tool!" and all 591 carry the Embed Code block. Prices, bullets and process sentences are quoted from /submit-ai-tool/, where both package buttons link to aitoolsone.com/go/paypal, which redirects to a PayPal checkout page. That page's own configuration carries the item list quoted here, four options priced 44.99, 89.99, 74.99 and 119.99, and a return address of aitoolsone.com/submit-ai-tool/details. A second, separate storefront on paystack.shop/submit-ai-tool answers 200 with its store marked live and both products marked active, sells Basic Submission + Link Juice at US$44.99 and Featured Package + Link Juice at US$89.99, carries the quoted description line on both, prints its own quantity sold of 23 and 18, and carries a return address to the same aitoolsone.com/submit-ai-tool/details page; the strings Link Juice and Triple Pack and the prices 74.99 and 119.99 return no match on /submit-ai-tool/, on the home, about, terms or contact pages, or on any of the 591 listing pages. Nothing was purchased, so no checkout was completed. The details page answers 200, is headed Submit a New AI Tool, renders its form client-side, and its own deployed chunk carries the field labels and the error string quoted here. The badge snippet is quoted from the deployed page chunk that the Copy Code button uses. The featured block holds six tools on every listing page, all six links followed, three of them through aitoolsone.com/go/ paths that redirect to URLs carrying via or ref parameters naming aitoolsone; the two of those six that have listing pages of their own carry the nofollow sponsored anchor on those pages. In their sitemap 586 of the 591 tool URLs carry a lastmod on or before 3 April 2026 and five carry a later one, the newest being 5 August 2026. The price history comes from the six Internet Archive captures of /submit-ai-tool/ that answer 200, from 15 October 2024 to 15 June 2025: the first three show $24.99 and $69.99 and the last three $44.99 and $89.99, with no capture between 13 January and 20 April 2025, so the change cannot be dated more tightly than that window. The rel history comes from archived tool pages: captures of /tool/blogify/ up to 13 January 2025 carry a Visit Site anchor with no rel attribute, and a capture of /tool/hyperwrite/ on 22 March 2025 carries rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow sponsored", corroborated on two further slugs. Their Terms of Use contains no occurrence of refund, money-back, payment, listing, paid or sponsor. Across all 591 listing pages and their submission, details, home, about, terms, contact and privacy pages, the word dofollow returns no match and the phrase link juice returns none either; backlink returns matches on 37 of them and every one is inside a listed product's own description. Submitator does not submit to AI Tools One.

How to submit to AI Tools One, step by step

  1. 1

Read the two packages before anything else

Everything is on /submit-ai-tool/. "Basic Submission" is "$44.99 / one-time payment" and promises "Listed within 48 hours", "Shown as a new tool on our homepage for 24–48 hours" and "Listed forever". "Featured Package" is "$89.99 / one-time payment" and promises "Stay featured for 7 days", "Top spot on your tool’s category page" and "Extra traffic from related tool pages". Neither says anything about the link.

  2. 2

Read what the checkout calls the product

Both buttons on that page, "Submit Tool" and "Get Featured", point at the same address on their own domain, which redirects to a single PayPal checkout. The checkout offers four options rather than two, and its own item list names them "Basic + Link Juice" at 44.99, "Featured + Link Juice" at 89.99, "Basic + Link Juice (Triple Pack)" at 74.99 and "Featured + Link Juice (Triple Pack)" at 119.99. The words Link Juice and Triple Pack appear nowhere on the site, and neither do the two Triple Pack prices.

  3. 3

Expect to pay before you describe anything

The checkout's configured return address is their own /submit-ai-tool/details page, which is where the form lives. It is headed "Submit a New AI Tool" and it wants an account: one of its own error strings is "You must be logged in to submit a tool." So the order is pay, come back, sign in, then type.

  4. 4

Have the fields ready before you go through with it

The form asks for "Tool Name*:", "Website URL*:", "Category*:", "Pricing Type*:", a pricing period, "Starts From Price (USD):", a square "Tool Icon*", a featured image and a description, over a placeholder reading "Type your description here...". Six labels carry the asterisk: tool name, website URL, category, pricing type, the custom pricing period if you pick one, and the tool icon. The pricing type list runs Free, Free Trial, Freemium, Paid, One-time, Lifetime, per month, week or year, and Custom.

  5. 5

Or ask first, through the contact form, for nothing

Their /contact/ page has a subject dropdown offering "General Enquiry", "Report an Issue", "Submit (AI Tool, Event & More)", "Advertise / Sponsor" and "Other", under the line "Want to get listed? Submit an AI tool, an AI event or conference, a hackathon, a workshop, or any other resource you think belongs in the directory." That surface costs nothing and it is the one place to put the question in the next step.

  6. 6

Ask for the link attribute in writing

This is the one question that decides whether the $44.99 does anything for search. On 558 of the 591 listing pages the anchor to the listed tool is nofollow and sponsored; on 33 it is not. Nothing published says why. Ask which of the two your listing will get, and get the answer before you pay rather than after.

  7. 7

Prepare copy you would be happy to see published

A listing page runs a "What Is X?" section, a features list, a use-case list and a pricing row. The meta description is one template with the name swapped, on 591 of the 591 pages: "Learn more about <name>. Explore reviews, pricing details, and alternatives for this tool." The description you write is the only part of the page that will read as yours.

  8. 8

Expect the page to arrive with company

Every listing page ships a sidebar of six featured tools, all six links followed, and an Alternatives block of competing products underneath your description. Three of the six featured links run through their own /go/ paths that redirect to addresses carrying via or ref parameters naming aitoolsone.

  9. 9

    Decide about the badge separately

Every listing carries an Embed Code block headed "FEATURED ON:" with a Copy Code button. The snippet it writes to your clipboard is an anchor to your listing page with rel="noopener noreferrer" on it, so it is a followed link from your homepage to them, next to a nofollow one from them to you. Nothing requires you to install it.

  10. 10

Push the URL to an indexer yourself

Take the URL away with you and put it through an indexer on the day it appears, because their sitemap will not flag it as new: 586 of the 591 tool URLs in it carry a lastmod on or before 3 April 2026. Our Growth and Scale plans include that step through IndexMachine.

What the checkout calls it

Nothing on aitoolsone.com claims a backlink, and that is worth saying first. Across all 591 listing pages and their submission, details, home, about, terms, contact and privacy pages, the word dofollow does not appear once and the phrase link juice does not appear at all. Where backlink turns up it is inside the descriptions of listed SEO products, not in anything the site says about being listed. The pitch on the submission page is traffic: "Thousands visit our site daily." The link claim lives one click further on, at the till.

Their PayPal checkout, which both buttons lead to, sells four items rather than two and names each of them after link equity: "Basic + Link Juice" at 44.99, "Featured + Link Juice" at 89.99, and Triple Pack versions at 74.99 and 119.99 whose prices appear nowhere on the site. A second storefront of theirs, on another processor, live and taking orders though the site now routes to PayPal, spells it out in the product description itself: "Additional benefit: SEO link juice (dofollow)", on both products, both live and active, with 23 and 18 sold on their own counters.

Set that against the census. 558 of the 591 listing pages carry the nofollow and sponsored anchor. Both stores carry a return address to the same page on aitoolsone.com, so this is one product with one fulfilment, described one way at the till and delivered another way in the markup.

More than half the listings never name the tool

This is the part that outweighs the rel attribute. On 319 of the 591 listing pages the Visit Site button does not point at the listed tool. It points at aitoolsone.com/go/<slug>/, an address on their own domain that answers with a redirect to somewhere else, and on the great majority of those pages the tool's real domain does not appear in the page's HTML anywhere: across the 319 it shows up on two.

So for a majority of the board a reader cannot see whose product they are about to visit until they have clicked, and a machine reading the page finds no association between the listing and the tool's own address at all. The remaining 272 do not use the redirector: 271 link straight out to the tool and one points back at its own listing. That split, 319 against 272, is the first thing to ask about if you are considering the $44.99, because it decides whether the page you bought mentions your domain even once.

The links that are followed

They exist, which is what makes the nofollow on your listing worth noticing. Every listing page carries a sidebar headed Featured AI Tools holding six tools, and all six of those links are followed. Three point straight at the tool and three run through aitoolsone.com/go/ paths that redirect to aragon.ai, gptgirlfriend.online and candynetwork.ai, each address carrying a via or ref parameter naming aitoolsone. That sidebar is on the page you paid for, and it is the same six on every one of the 591.

It is not only the sidebar. On their comparison pages every outbound link we read is followed, 15 of 15, to names like chatgpt.com and claude.ai, and across twelve blog posts 59 of 62 outbound links are followed, to citations like forbes.com and statista.com. On the one surface that has a price attached to it, the listing pages, 558 of 591 are not.

Being in the featured block does not change what your own listing page says, either. Two of the six featured tools have listing pages of their own on the site, and on both of them the Visit Site anchor is nofollow and sponsored like everyone else's. Thirty-three listings out of 591 do carry a followed anchor, and nothing on the site explains what puts a listing in that group. It is not a tracking parameter, which is rarer among the followed 33, five of them, than among the 239 nofollowed direct links, 98 of them. The only pattern we could measure is host-level: 27 of the 203 distinct hosts in their tool-card grid are followed, and a host that is followed is followed in every slot it appears in. That is the question to put to them in writing before paying.

$44.99 there. $29 here, for thirty.

One payment, thirty directories you choose yourself with each domain's DR on the card, and any rejection credited back as +1 directory to pick again.

Start — from $29

What $44.99 puts on the page

A real page, to be fair to it. Your listing gets a What Is section, a features list, a use-case list, a pricing row, the image you uploaded on 523 of the 591, a reviews section and an Alternatives block, on all 591 pages we read. All 591 pages carry a self-referencing canonical and none of them carries a meta robots tag, so nothing on the page is telling search engines to skip it. The dates a listing does carry are not about the listing: every one of the 591 emits an offers node with a priceValidUntil hardcoded a year out, and in their sitemap 586 of the 591 tool URLs carry a lastmod on or before 3 April 2026.

What it does not put on the page is your domain, anywhere a machine reads it. Each page emits a SoftwareApplication block, and on all 591 the url field is the AI Tools One listing rather than the tool. Across every URL-valued field in every JSON-LD node on all 591 pages, the listed tool's own domain appears zero times. The only anchor that would point at your site is the Visit Site button. On 558 of the 591 it is nofollow and sponsored, and on 319 of the 591 it points at their own redirector instead of at you.

One more measured thing about the page you are buying. Their own About page says the directory "is also a review platform where actual people who have used any tool can leave feedback". On 588 of the 591 listings the review section currently reads "No reviews yet. Be the first to review this tool!"

What changed in 2025

Both halves of this are datable from the Internet Archive, and they are worth putting side by side. In every capture of their submission page up to 13 January 2025, Basic Submission was $24.99 and Featured was $69.99, sold with almost the same bullets it uses now: "Get listed within 48 hours", "Be listed forever". By the capture of 20 April 2025 the same two packages were $44.99 and $89.99, an increase of eighty per cent on the cheaper one, and the FAQ that page used to carry was gone.

The listing markup moved in the same stretch. On archived tool pages captured up to 13 January 2025 the Visit Site anchor carried no rel attribute at all, which is to say it was followed. By the capture of 22 March 2025 the same kind of anchor reads rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow sponsored". So a founder who read about this directory in 2024, at $24.99 with a followed link, is being quoted $44.99 today for a nofollowed one.

The badge points the other way

Every listing page offers you a badge. The block is headed FEATURED ON:, it has a light and a dark version and a Copy Code button, and the snippet that button puts on your clipboard is, from their own deployed code, an anchor to your listing page carrying rel="noopener noreferrer".

Read the two attributes together and the trade is plain. The link they publish to you is marked nofollow and sponsored. The link they invite you to publish to them is neither. Nothing forces you to install it, and on this particular board there is not much argument for doing so. Where a badge is the price of entry to a directory worth being in, we install it and keep it live for you.

AI Tools One review: is an aitoolsone.com listing worth $44.99?

As a link buy, on their own markup, no. The product on sale is a page whose single anchor to your site is marked nofollow and sponsored on 558 of the 591 listings, and whose structured data names their address rather than yours on all 591. The marking itself is correct, and worth saying: Google asks paid links to be marked, and these are marked. What that means for the buyer is that $44.99 buys a link search engines are told to ignore, sold at the till as "SEO link juice (dofollow)". What is left for the buyer is exposure on a DR 37 domain, on a page that in 588 of 591 cases has no reviews on it.

Then the price. $44.99 is one listing. Our Starter plan is $29 for thirty directories, which works out at about 97 cents a door, so a single Basic listing there costs more than forty-six times what one Submitator directory costs, and thirty doors bought at $44.99 apiece would run to $1,349.70. The Featured Package at $89.99 is more than ninety-three times. Put the other way round: our entire thirty-directory plan costs less than two thirds of one listing there.

And the $29 is not only buying doors. Nine of the thirty charge their own fee for the tier worth having and the plan pays all nine, over $140 that never reaches your card. Put that $44.99 into thirty doors here instead of one there and you still have $15.99 left.

The short version

$44.99 for a link marked nofollow.

$44.99 up front, before you submit anything, $89.99 to be featured for a week, and no free route. On 558 of the 591 listing pages the Visit Site anchor reads nofollow and sponsored, your domain is in none of the structured data, and the badge they hand you to put on your own site is followed. Thirty directories with us cost $29. The whole catalog.

FAQ

What is AI Tools One?

An AI-tool directory of 591 listings on a domain Ahrefs rates 37, alongside listicles, comparison pages, a blog and an events section. Every listing gets a page with a written description, a features list, a use-case list, a pricing row, an Alternatives block of competing products and a Visit Site button.

How much does it cost to submit to AI Tools One?

$44.99 for the cheapest option, paid in full before you submit anything. Their submission page sells "Basic Submission" at "$44.99 / one-time payment" with the bullets "Listed within 48 hours", "Shown as a new tool on our homepage for 24–48 hours" and "Listed forever", and "Featured Package" at "$89.99 / one-time payment" with "Stay featured for 7 days", "Top spot on your tool’s category page" and "Extra traffic from related tool pages". There is no free route: no free submission is offered anywhere on the site.

Is the AI Tools One link dofollow?

No, on almost the whole board, and on more than half of it the link does not even point at the tool. We fetched all 591 listing pages in their sitemap and read the Visit Site anchor on each: 558 of 591 carry rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow sponsored" and 33 carry rel="noopener noreferrer". On 319 of the 591 the anchor points at an aitoolsone.com/go/ address of their own that redirects onward, and the tool's real domain appears in the page HTML on two of those 319. The structured data does not carry it either: all 591 SoftwareApplication blocks set url to the AI Tools One page, and the tool's own domain appears in no JSON-LD URL field on any of the 591.

Does the $89.99 Featured Package make the link dofollow?

No, and nothing on the submission page says it would. The featured block on every listing page holds six tools whose links are followed, and two of those six have listing pages of their own on the site. On both of those pages the Visit Site anchor is rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow sponsored", the same as everyone else. Neither package on the submission page mentions link attributes at all.

How do you pay AI Tools One?

Up front, and before you describe anything. Both package buttons, "Submit Tool" and "Get Featured", point at the same URL on their own domain, which redirects to a single PayPal checkout. A second storefront on another processor sells the same two products. Both are configured to send the buyer on to aitoolsone.com/submit-ai-tool/details, which is where the form lives, and that page wants an account: one of its own error strings is "You must be logged in to submit a tool."

How long does an AI Tools One listing take?

Their submission page states two figures. The Basic bullet reads "Listed within 48 hours" and the process section says "If all looks good, your tool will be live within 2 business days." No approval rate, rejection policy or refund is published anywhere on the site.

Does AI Tools One give refunds?

Nothing is published. Their Terms of Use contains zero occurrences of refund, money-back, payment, listing, paid or sponsor, and the page that takes the money links to PayPal without any terms of its own. The only contractual line near the subject is an Advertiser Disclosure reading "we may earn commissions or receive other forms of compensation from certain links or advertisements featured on our site."

Does AI Tools One ask for a badge on your site?

It offers one, and the badge points the other way. Every listing page carries an Embed Code block headed "FEATURED ON:" with a Copy Code button, and the snippet that button writes to your clipboard is an anchor to your AI Tools One listing page carrying rel="noopener noreferrer". So the badge you would paste on your own site is followed, while the link they publish to you is not.

Is an AI Tools One listing worth $44.99?

Not as a link buy, on their own markup. The product is sold with the line "Additional benefit: SEO link juice (dofollow)", and on 558 of the 591 listings the anchor to the listed tool carries nofollow and sponsored, which passes no equity; on 319 of the 591 it does not point at the tool at all. The page you pay for names your domain in no schema field either. As exposure it is a page on a DR 37 domain with a written description, and 588 of the 591 listings currently read "No reviews yet. Be the first to review this tool!" Set the price against the alternative: $44.99 buys one listing there, where the same money would leave $15.99 spare after paying for thirty directories here.

Does Submitator submit to AI Tools One?

No. One paid listing there costs more than forty-six times what one directory costs inside our $29 plan, and the link it buys is marked nofollow and sponsored on 558 of the 591 pages we read. What we sell instead is a plan rather than a listing: $29 puts you on thirty directories you tick off yourself, $49 on sixty and $79 on a hundred, one payment, every DR on screen while you choose, a rejected submission credited back as another directory and thirty days to ask for the money back on the conditions in our terms.

Thirty directories for less than one listing there.

$29 one payment, a 30-day refund policy on the conditions in our terms, badges installed and kept live where a directory wants one, and thirty doors you pick yourself with every domain's DR on the card.
