How to Submit to AIBest.Tools, and How Long the Homepage Lasts

AIBest.Tools pricing: $6.9 with no interval stated, or $19.9 a month

Three cards. Basic, sub-labelled "Regular Listing", shows $6.9 against a struck 9.9 and states no interval anywhere on the card. Pro, sub-labelled "Feature Listing", shows $19.9 against a struck 29.9 and does carry "/ month", which makes it $238.80 over a year. The third, "Sponsored & Ads", has no price and its button opens a mail composer.

Neither struck figure comes with a deadline, a countdown or a reason. The strike is hardcoded: both old prices are fixed numbers in the pricing module and the line-through renders whenever the number exists, with no date, timer, expiry or seat counter anywhere in that file. So the anchors are worth checking against the record. The 29.9 above Pro has never been shown as a payable price on any of the twenty pricing surfaces we could read between December 2024 and August 2026, nineteen archived plus the live one, appearing struck or not at all; there is a 39-day gap in early 2025 with no capture, which the record cannot speak for. The 9.9 above Basic was a real unstruck price once, in December 2024, but for the tier that was then called Pro. It has never been the standing price of the Basic card it now sits above.

The dofollow promise holds, and here is exactly what it is

This is the part where most directories in this price bracket fall down, and AIBest.Tools does not. Across 22 listing pages read on 4 August 2026, every single one carried at least three anchors that pointed at the listed tool's own domain and carried no rel attribute whatsoever. Not one had nofollow. We re-fetched three of them with a Googlebot user agent and the markup was identical, so nothing is being served differently to crawlers. The pages are indexable, self-canonical and free of robots restrictions.

Two things stop that being quite as much as it sounds. The three anchors are three slots in the page template, a hero button, the screenshot and a sidebar row, and on 19 of 19 pages we checked in detail they all resolved to the same single URL. So it is one destination linked three times rather than three separate links, and whether anything beyond the first counts for search is not something we can tell you. And the two unpaid seeded listings we found, Claude and Cursor, carry the same three anchors, which makes them a property of the template rather than something the fee buys.

One structural note in the other direction. Category pages paginate, but the pagination controls carry no href at all, so a listing sitting past the first page of its category has no crawlable path in from there. Every listing is in the sitemap, so this is a navigation gap rather than an indexing one.

"Homepage included" is a queue, and the card used to say so

The homepage does link out to listed tools, twenty of them, all followed. That much is real. But a Basic listing reaches it through one block, headed "Newest", which holds twelve slots ordered by publish date. Newer listings push older ones out. Of the nineteen listings we sampled across the catalog, eighteen no longer had a homepage link on the day we looked, while their listing pages still carried their three followed links.

We measured the rate from archived copies dated 6 February and 14 May 2026 against the live homepage on 4 August 2026. Ten new listings entered that block across those 179 days, which is about one every eighteen days, so a slot lasts something like half a year at the rate we saw. That is an observation over one stretch, not a promise, and the submit page states no duration at all. Meanwhile the six domains in the Featured block above it were the same six on all three dates, unchanged for the whole 179 days. Persistent homepage placement is the thing Pro sells at $19.9 a month, and both statements on the page are literally accurate at once.

The detail that makes this worth a paragraph rather than a footnote: they used to disclose it. Archived copies from December 2024 and February 2025 show a Free tier whose own card carried the line "Will be removed from homepage after some time". That tier is gone, and the $6.9 Basic card now on the page carries no equivalent line.

The paperwork is a placeholder

Both /terms and /privacy return a normal page containing a single paragraph: "Under Developing". That is the entire legal surface. The words refund, money-back and guarantee occur zero times across every public page we captured, and no company, person or address is named as the operator anywhere on the site. The domain was registered in October 2024 and its registrant is not disclosed. A /refund path does exist in the sense that requesting it redirects you to a login screen, but so does any address we invented, so that tells you nothing either way about what sits behind the sign-in.

The site does credit a person, in its metadata and in its footer: "Built with Mkdirs by Corey Chiu". Mkdirs is a commercial directory template that anyone can buy, and the wording credits the template rather than stating who runs this site, so treat it as an attribution rather than an owner. The template's own stock keyword tag is still shipping unedited in the head, which tells you how much of the build is boilerplate.

One thing worth flagging for anyone who submits here. The server-rendered payload behind the homepage exposes Stripe customer identifiers for submitters in plain text, twenty present and eighteen distinct on the day we checked. We are not republishing any, and we are not suggesting anything can be done with one. It is simply more than a buyer would expect a listing page to carry, and it is the kind of thing a real privacy policy would normally have something to say about.

Is a $6.9 AIBest.Tools listing worth it?

For $6.9, yes, on the narrow terms it actually offers. The links are followed, on every page we checked, served identically to Googlebot, on indexable pages with clean canonicals. There is no fake urgency, no countdown and no invented discount deadline. The newest listing was eleven days old when we looked, so the place is being tended. That is more than several directories charging four times as much can show.

Set against that: the terms and privacy pages are both the words "Under Developing", there is no public refund position at all, the three links are one destination linked three times and come with the template rather than the fee, and the homepage half of the promise is a queue whose duration the page no longer mentions, though an older version of the card did. Buy it as a cheap listing with a followed link. Don't buy it as a permanent homepage placement, because that is the $19.9 a month product sitting next to it.
