Submit to Wall of Tools

Launch Once, Stay on the Wall. Three Cards, All Dofollow.

Written by Submitator, which files customers to Wall of Tools on the free Badge card and handles the badge for them. Read the badge sections knowing that.

Wall of Tools describes itself in two sentences, and they are a fair summary: "Submit your tool in under a minute and stay listed forever. Every launch gets a permanent page and a free dofollow backlink from a real directory." The line across its homepage is shorter: "Launch once. Stay on the wall forever." The wall is new and its DR is still building.

Submitting means picking one of three cards, and every one of them lists a "Dofollow link". Badge is free and asks you to "Add our badge". Dofollow is $9 one-time with "No badge needed". Featured is $19 per 30 days for a "Homepage slot", tagged "Most impact".

We file our customers on the Badge card and handle the badge ourselves, so the listing goes out dofollow and the $9 never comes into it.

Featured comes with a badgeless listing

Featured is not only a sponsor spot. Their pricing panel spells out what comes with it: "Includes a free badgeless launch — a dofollow listing, no badge required." So the thirty days in the sponsor row come with the same listing the $9 card sells, and their promise for every launch is "Stay on the wall forever."

Per wallof.tools, its home page, its two blog posts, the 60 listing pages at /<category>/<slug>, sitemap.xml, robots.txt and the page code behind the submission panel, all read on 25 September 2026; nothing was submitted, verified, paid or signed into. The three cards are quoted from the tier picker as the site serves it, and they match the screenshots Submitator's founder took of the same panel: Badge, "$0", "free", "Dofollow link", "Add our badge", "Continue with Badge"; Dofollow, "$9", "one-time", "Dofollow link", "No badge needed"; Featured, "$19", "per 30 days", "Dofollow link", "Homepage slot", tagged "Most impact". Featured wording appears twice in their panels, "Pinned to the top of the homepage for 30 days, plus a free badgeless launch on the site. One-time payment." and "Shown in the sponsor row for 30 days, plus a free badgeless launch on the site. One-time payment.", with "Early-adopter pricing", "Price rises as slots fill" and "Includes a free badgeless launch — a dofollow listing, no badge required." The slot prices are the ones in the panel's code: $19 for slots one to three, then $29, $39, $49, $59, $69, $79 and $89 for slot ten, each for 30 days, and "Sold out" beyond it; one slot was taken that day. The badge step reads "Before going live, add your badge" and "Add the badge to your site and your link goes out dofollow.", with the two error lines quoted in the FAQ. The blog line on rendering is from their post "How directory launches improve your domain rating": "Install required badges properly. If a directory gives you a dofollow link in exchange for a badge, make sure that badge renders server-side, or the verifier will never see it and the listing will not publish." Link figures: the Visit button on 58 of the 60 listing pages carries rel="noopener" and on 2 carries rel="noopener nofollow"; the nine tools on the wall that show a Wall of Tools badge on their own sites all have the followed Visit button. The listing page shows an optional X handle as a Maker link with rel="noopener noreferrer", on 42 of the 60, and a Founder label beside the handle where the founder box was ticked. Domain Rating is Ahrefs' figure via submitator.com/domain-rating-checker, which returned 18; their header showed 3 from VerifiedDR on the same date, and wallof.tools was registered on 11 September 2026. Wall of Tools publishes no re-check policy, and nothing on this page describes one. Submitator's founder states that we submit customers to Wall of Tools and handle its badge. Starter is $29 for 30 directories, Growth $49 for 60 and Scale $79 for 100, each a single payment, and the directories are chosen by the customer in the dashboard; a rejected submission is credited back as one more directory to choose, and refunds follow the 30-day conditions in our terms.

Five fields and a founder box

The submission panel asks for a tool name, a URL, a tagline and a category, and then for two extras: an optional X handle and a checkbox, "This is the founder's account". Both end up on your listing. The handle becomes a Maker line linking to your X profile, and that link is followed. Tick the box and the handle carries a Founder label next to it.

That is a second link out of the listing, to a person rather than a product, and it is worth filling in. The founder box is a public claim, so tick it for your own account and leave it clear for a company handle. If your tool is already on the wall, the panel says so before you go further.

Before going live

Pick the Badge card and the next screen is headed "Before going live, add your badge", with the deal underneath: "Add the badge to your site and your link goes out dofollow." There is a light and a dark version, a Copy button and one action, "Verify & publish". The snippet it gives you links to your own listing:

<a href="https://wallof.tools/<category>/<slug>" target="_blank" rel="noopener">
  <img src="https://wallof.tools/badge/toolwall-badge-light.svg"
       alt="Featured on Wall of Tools" width="188" height="56" />
</a>

The check runs while you watch ("Checking your site…") and, if it fails, says why: "Couldn't find the badge yet — publish it on your site, then try again." or "We couldn't reach your site. Check it's live and try again." Their own blog names the classic trap: a badge added by a script after the page loads is one "the verifier will never see". Put it in the HTML your server sends.

It works when it is done right. Every tool on the wall that shows their badge on its own site, nine of nine on 25 September 2026, links out with a followed Visit button.

$9 and no badge

The Dofollow card is the same listing with the badge step removed: "$9", "one-time", "No badge needed". If your site cannot take a snippet, this is the card for you.

Thirty days in the sponsor row

Featured is the card they tag "Most impact", and their pricing panel describes it plainly: "Shown in the sponsor row for 30 days, plus a free badgeless launch on the site. One-time payment." The sponsor row is the strip at the top of the homepage, where the next open spot reads "Your tool here" and "Starting at $19".

The price is an early-adopter one and they say so: "Price rises as slots fill". The first three slots are $19 for 30 days, the fourth is $29 and each one after that adds $10 up to $89 for the tenth, after which the card reads "Sold out". On 25 September 2026 one slot was taken. If a launch week is coming, this is the cheapest the row will be.

When the thirty days are up, the sponsor placement ends. The listing it came with is the panel's "free badgeless launch on the site", and their description says "Every launch gets a permanent page."

The badge, handled

The free card is the one we use, and the badge is our part of the job. Submitator installs one badge component once and keeps every directory's badge live. For Wall of Tools customers, the listing goes out on the Badge card, dofollow, and the snippet never lands on anyone's to-do list.

Wall of Tools review: the short answer

A new wall with a straight deal: every card lists a dofollow link, the free one asks for a badge, the $9 one does not and $19 buys thirty days at the top while the early slots last. File it on the free card; the badge is ours to handle.

How to submit to Wall of Tools, step by step

  1. 1

Name it the way people search for it

Use the name people type, not the domain, and let the tagline explain the tool to someone who has never heard of it.

  2. 2

Tick the founder box only if it is true

Add your X handle so the listing carries a Maker link to your profile. Tick "This is the founder's account" when the handle is yours as a founder; leave it clear for a company or team account, because the Founder label is shown publicly.

  3. 3

Submit the live URL that will carry the badge

The badge check fetches your site, so submit the address that is live today and put the badge in the HTML that address serves. A badge that only appears once scripts run will fail the check.

  4. 4

Verify & publish, or pay $9 and skip it

On the Badge card, paste the snippet, deploy, then press Verify & publish. If the check says it could not find the badge, it is not in the served HTML yet. If you would rather not touch your site, the Dofollow card does the same job for $9 one-time.

  5. 5

Buy Featured for a launch week, while slots are $19

The sponsor row is $19 for 30 days for the first three slots and climbs by $10 a slot after that. It also includes the badgeless listing, so if you want the row you do not need the $9 card as well.

  6. 6

Or have Wall of Tools filed with the badge taken care of

We submit on the Badge card and handle the badge as part of your plan, so the listing goes out dofollow without a snippet from your team or the $9.

Their $9 skips the badge. Our $29 handles it, on Wall of Tools and twenty-nine more.

One payment for thirty directories you tick in the dashboard, each with its Domain Rating on the card, and one component for whichever badges they ask for.

The short version

Three cards. We take the free one and handle the badge.

Wall of Tools lists your tool on a single wall, and all three cards on its picker list a dofollow link: free with their badge, $9 one-time without it or $19 per 30 days in the sponsor row with the badgeless listing included. Submitator puts it on the free card, handles the badge and counts it as one of the thirty directories in a $29 plan. The whole catalog.

FAQ

Is Wall of Tools dofollow?

Every card on their tier picker lists “Dofollow link”, the free one included. On 25 September 2026, 58 of the 60 listing pages linked out with a followed Visit button, and every tool on the wall that shows their badge on its own site, nine of nine, was among them.

Is Wall of Tools free?

The Badge card is: “$0”, “free”, with “Dofollow link” and “Add our badge”. If you would rather not add anything to your site, the Dofollow card is “$9” “one-time” with “No badge needed”.

What does Featured on Wall of Tools include?

Thirty days in the sponsor row at the top of the homepage and a dofollow listing that needs no badge. Their pricing panel: “Shown in the sponsor row for 30 days, plus a free badgeless launch on the site. One-time payment.” The card is tagged “Most impact”.

Does the $19 Featured price change?

It rises as the row fills, and they say so: “Early-adopter pricing” and “Price rises as slots fill”. Slots one to three are $19 for 30 days, then $29, $39 and so on up to $89 for the tenth; after that the card reads “Sold out”. On 25 September 2026 one slot was taken and the next was $19.

What happens when the 30 Featured days end?

The sponsor-row placement is what runs for 30 days. The listing it came with is described as “a free badgeless launch on the site”, and their promise for every launch is “Stay on the wall forever.”

What if Wall of Tools cannot find my badge?

The check tells you which problem it hit. Either “Couldn't find the badge yet — publish it on your site, then try again.” or “We couldn't reach your site. Check it's live and try again.” Their own blog adds the usual cause: a badge that only appears after scripts run is one “the verifier will never see”.

What is Wall of Tools' Domain Rating?

Our Ahrefs-backed checker read 18 for wallof.tools on 25 September 2026. The wall is new, with a domain registered on 11 September 2026, so its rating is still building. The DR 3 in their own header comes from VerifiedDR; the 18 is on the same scale as every other directory we list.

Does Submitator submit to Wall of Tools?

On the free Badge card, with the badge handled for you, so the listing goes out dofollow without the $9. It is in our catalog, and plans start at $29 for thirty directories, paid once.
