Scroll to its own FAQ: "Do you use automation for submissions?" answer, verbatim: "Yes! We use smart automation combined with human review." Both sentences are on the same page. There's nothing wrong with automation (Submitator is real browser automation and says so on the tin; that's why 100 directories cost $79 and land in a day or two). What you can't do is sell no-bots-ever and yes-to-automation simultaneously, and a page that does leaves you guessing which sentence describes your order.

The 50% off their own pricing page hasn't heard of

The sales page shows every tier struck through: $299 becomes $149, $499 becomes $249, $799 becomes $399, under "Limited-time prices — save up to 50%." The same site's pricing page lists $149, $249, and $399 as the plain, everyday prices, no strikethrough, no discount, no time limit. So compare at face value: their middle tier is $249 for 120+ directories, about $2.08 each; Submitator's top plan is $79 for 100, $0.79 each, and the $29 entry is a fifth of their cheapest door. One more line item worth decoding: every tier bundles a "DA 62 Launch Llama listing." The listing is free anyway (a free Launch Llama listing is the stated prerequisite for buying), and tool listings live on the tools subdomain, which the service's own before/after panel shows at DR 22. The root domain's DR 62 is real (FrogDR confirms it); the page just points that number at a listing that lives somewhere else.

A "complete list" you can't find

Which directories do $149 to $399 buy? The page never names one. The spec is two tier floors, "120+ directories (all DR 30+)" and "220+ directories (all DR 40+)," and an FAQ that answers "Can I view the full list of directories where my SaaS will be submitted?" with "Yes! The complete list is available on our homepage." We looked, and no such list exists on any public page of either domain that we could find. The FAQ also promises "all 140+ directory submissions within 48 hours," numbers that match no tier and no other timeline on the page. Badges are never mentioned, which writes off the badge-gated tier of free dofollow listings (Startup Fame, DR 83, Fazier, DR 81, Turbo0, DR 79), and "dofollow" appears zero times. Submitator's catalog is the opposite of a mystery: 100+ named directories, each with its DR next to it, and you pick every one of your 30 to 100 in the dashboard.

"We don't provide a list of approved submissions"

That's their FAQ, verbatim. The proof story goes like this: a "Completion summary report" is a bullet on the $399 Authority tier, the pricing page glosses it as seeing "exactly where your tool was submitted" (submitted, not live), and buyers on the $149 and $249 tiers are pointed to Ahrefs, Semrush, or Search Console to check results themselves. The same page criticizes doing it yourself with the line "No way to verify each submission went live," a sentence that describes its own lower tiers rather well. Fair credit where due: it creates a dedicated email for your submissions and hands over the credentials with the final report, so you own most of the accounts (Google-sign-in directories stay under theirs). Submitator's approach is structural instead: a live dashboard that shows each listing with a live link as it completes, and a +1 credit for every directory that rejects you.

"Real Results from Real Clients," four of whom are the operator

The results panel shows six before/after domains. Four belong to the operator himself: tools.launchllama.co (the service's own subdomain, presented as a client going DR 0 to 22), The Stack (a newsletter he co-writes), and SpeakTechEnglish and Mockly English (his own products). A fifth, folkscope.com, was registered on June 11, 2026, four weeks before the first archived copy of the page crediting it with 900 backlinks. Among the dated testimonials, one reads January 30, 2026, nine days before launchllama.co was registered (February 8, 2026, per whois). And the hero's "from 70 reviews" links to no source, and we couldn't find the reviews on any platform. None of this makes the newsletter fake; it makes the service's evidence self-referential, and worth reading with that in mind.

A guarantee, provided "as is"

The page headlines a "Guaranteed DR increase." The Terms provide the directory "as is" without warranties, disclaim guarantees of "Specific traffic or visibility for your product," and name no legal entity and no governing law. No refund is stated for this service anywhere; the site's only refund sentence covers different products ("No refunds are offered once a Featured Listing or Newsletter Ad has been activated or sent"). A guarantee with no remedy behind it is a headline, not a promise. To be fair, the service's own FAQ has moments of real candor: approvals can take "days, weeks, or even months," and the service is "best suited for websites with a DR below 10." When Launch Llama might fit

To be fair: Launch Llama is a real ecosystem run by a named founder, the newsletter and free tools directory genuinely operate, the root domain's DR 62 checks out on FrogDR, prices are genuinely one-time with no countdown clocks or spots-left theater, and handing over the dedicated-email credentials is better practice than some rivals manage. If what you want is a push that sits close to that newsletter ecosystem, from one identifiable builder, and tier-level DR floors are enough specification for you, it may serve.
